Old technology. The client has a really old email system that NOBODY has used in many many years, so none of my peers could help me, not even other Admins

Old technology. The client has a really old email system that NOBODY has used in many many years, so none of my peers could help me, not even other Admins from big shops knew. Emails stop sending and receiving. I know very little about this system so Google was really my friend. Got me pointed in the right direction. Delete this, reboot that... fixed!
