The New "What did you do with your Z today" (with off topic replies) XXIX

While riding the shuttle bus from the Rental Car Center to the terminal at OMA today I overheard a conversation between two twenty-something women. One of them used the work "like" 7 times in a single sentence.

Here is a hint: use of the word "like" should be limited to two conditions:

1. Expressing an affinity for something... For example -- "I like the way you wear those yoga pants even though your are at the airport".

2. Employing a simile... For example -- "This bologna sandwich is exactly like the ones we ate every day in prison".

Thats just as bad as the people who say "Bro" every 4 words or say "Um.." a million times

Whats just as irritating if not more, is when people speak and end their sentences with a questioning tone when making a statement thats not a question.
"im fine today...??? I got in to work late...??? I cant believe its friday..??"

Im guilty of this on work days before ive had my coffee. Solely because my tired voice sounds like that
