Plumbing is all fixed! Leaving the gypboard out for a week or so to let the space under the water heater dry out and make sure there aren't any other leaks
 They managed to limit the holes to one in the ceiling inside the garage, one inside the house between the garage and the bathroom and one in the wall in the bathroom. Pretty minimal cutting all in all.
