We have talked about doing a few different versions. Do not rule any option out. You must stay tuned...

Not to speak on their behalf, but it won't be too wise of a business decision to only release catless long-tubes. Take a look at how many on this forum have high-flow cats vs. test-pipes, and that will give you some indication of the market share they will be missing out on.

Every reputable manufacturer of aftermarket long-tube headers for most other cars offer cats as an option. I can't see why Fast Intentions will be any different.

On the flipside: Headers are a royal PITA to install on our cars, and the running opinion among us that installed the Stillen short-tubes is that at least without ECU tuning, they aren't worth the expense and install effort.

Obviously the long-tubes will hopefully do better than the shorts (probably both pre- and post- ECU tuning for them), but they're still going to be a relatively high cost/pain:gains ratio compared to most other available bolt-ons. That probably means most of the market won't bother with them, and that for those that do want to go the extra mile for the headers, dealing with the lack of HFCs (using O2 fakes or ECU tuning to delete the code, dealing with legality in some states, etc) is a relatively minor issue to be concerned about, all things considered. Just my $0.02.
