Im going to buy the motordyne m370 intake manifold but I want to know if you can still using the oem engine cover

Yes it is possible but I believe a few minor modifications are needed.

I think so, AAM did my installation and it has the OEM engine cover still on it.

Fits fine. No mods needed. It just has a slight curve to it now because the M370 is larger.

To use the OEM cover, you have to separate the black plate from the silver plate and then use only the silver plate for the bolts.

I found this in the other thread.

The optional black metal cover does bolt to the silver brace/plate underneath. Its just 4 small bolts that secure it, so its easily removable.

I know that, just stating that they aren't connected when pulling out of the box, mostly a minor and irrelevant detail. Wanted to make sure no one got confused that it's an optional cover and not something that needed to be installed. Thanks for clarifying.
