To be fair, each component of the exhaust is hand built and they are built to order. They only have about a hand count of employees working at their facility. Since each part is also welded by hand and not machine, they make sure the quality of the welds are 100%. It takes about a week to fully build the exhaust system. They have a lot of orders on waiting to be completed, hell even waiting to get started.

Does the wait suck? Yes it does but is it worth a great sounding product? Once again, yes.

It's also just an estimated date. It could be a lot shorter than that period.

Install went smooth, package delivered in a professional manner. People were right video sound clips do it no . justice. I paired my 12in resonators with non res test pipes. Couple things suggest is pb blast the bolts the night before including test pipe bolts. I won't get into much detail about the test pipes, but i didn't need to disassemble the steering shaft to access the top driver side test pipe bolt. 1/2 inch extension (24-30inch) , 1/2in rachchet, 14mm impact swivel socket, and a breaker bar will do the trick. O and use all 6 point sockets for all bolts. No CEL light. Part number #1190

Thanks Fast Intentions for the awesome exhaust!

#1200 was installed yesterday and this thing sounds awesome. The exhaust also looks amazing and the installation went smooth and everything fit perfectly! The drive home was so fun.

I know because both my exhaust cans have holes in them.

Do you have pictures of this? It looks like the cans hang pretty low, but FI says same as the stock exhaust tubes in that area. I'd hate to drop $1300 on an exhaust that could be easily damaged at OEM ride height! Sounds amazing though.

It is the same height as the lowest point on the stock Z. No issues at stock height unless you decide to go curb jumping or something silly like that. Take speed bumps at angles to protect your front bumper and you will not have problems with the exhaust. Mine has been on for two years without an issue.

Ordered my FI CBE today. It should be here around the first of December so I'm getting a really nice Christmas present!

The fact that the waiting list is so long just goes to show you how in demand these are and therefore should be well worth the wait. Quality does take longer and my Z deserves Z-best!

You wont have any issues. The gen 1 system required you to be a bit more careful but with the gen 2 its not that low at all especially at stock height.
