I don't care what the maker says half the time, I'd do what I feel most comfortable doing, and if I were in your shoes, I'd upgrade all of the connecting hardware just for that little extra piece of mind. Last thing you need is all the added stress to the valvetrain wrecking the engine somehow.
On the flipside, any company saying "oh you can use (x) engine mod without retuning, it's safe for stock no problem" can't possibly be getting massive gains....I think there is more needed than just the cam shafts, but what do I know? |
