Correct, below is a pic of the part that unbolts from the pic Shovelman posted. The hose that comes with the kit does have to be deformed a bit to fit through AFTER this part is removed, you WOULD have to grind/cut the area shown in Shovelman's photo if you wanted to have every pipe be as round as possible from the filter to the throttle bodies.

Yes.

If he is talking about the snorkel from the airbox to that hole, then yes, he is correct and this has been a massive mis-communication.

Either way, that hole through the radiator support is the same permanently attached structure on everyone's car.
