OK, Ferodo's are the best pads in the world folks. Look no further than DS3000's there are NO better pads anywhere. In fact I heard all other brake pads manufacturers are going out of business because they simply can't match the performance of these run of the mill mediocre pads.
Clearly someone who lists Xpel/DEI/Alpine/valentine and Llumar as mods and thinks the Entry level track pads made by ferodo are the best pads ever is someone that will be missed. No really, I will miss your input. Don't have an air freshener to throw in with the mods? Maybe like "Minty Madness" mod or like "Strawberry Blast" mod? Oooh I know... Straight from japan, "JDM Squash" mod!? Give me a break, thanks for being done. Last edited by RCZ; 05-14-2009 at 08:27 PM. |

HEY! I resemble that last remark! The guys at Carboy here in Houston talked me into picking up one of those JDM Squash-scented air freshener things. They're actually pretty badass for an air freshener, I like it

This is the one they sold me, they had a bunch there at their front counter when I went for a dyno run. The girl recently asked me 'how long ago did you get this car? It still smells like new car'. It works

It's similar to Redline Water Wetter, but works better. Nissan Sport did a article on it a while back. And they sent me the product to test for them as well. I have been impressed. You guys might try it as it will lower your engine temps down a little. Video vs Water Wetter. See how Redline foams up, not a good thing. YouTube - DEI Radiator Relief vs. Water Wetter (Part 1)

Ah well I was close, it's the same company that makes the exhaust shielding stuff
![]() Interesting, I might try it on my next flush. I have Water Wetter in there now, I'm not sure how brilliant an idea it is to mix the two. |

![]() Asinine Engineering: Direct Exhaust Injection Funny story about this btw - this was actually made up on a local board of mine in Omaha. Theres some moron on there who'd make accounts with names similar to some well-known people on the board and try to make them sound like idiots. So, they turned the tables on him and made up some fake ideas to improve performance on a motor. DEI was one of those many funny posts, and it ended up turning viral a bit haha It became so popular, just loading the thread on the board by millions of people caused the owner of the board to surpass his bandwidth for the month, within the first week of the month alone.

Nice one
![]() Sadly, many cars come factory equipped with that form of DEI. They call it 'EGR' |

Well I'm glad you removed the xpel and your radar detector from your mods... all I said was the ds2500s were not track pads and you came out saying they are amazing and then said that after racing for 15 years you have the experience and you think they are the best you have tried....listen man...do I have to quote the stuff you said? If you want to get into it here, I will gladly get into it, but frankly I have no need to make enemies in these forums. So forget it. Nothing personal. |

Or maybe your car smells like a new car because it is a new car?
