2015+ exhaust manifold vs older

Why would they change them. The Z hasn't changed in 10 years. LOL

That’s what I thought too but someone was saying the 2015+ have a different design at the collector (more like the z1 with a 3-1 with individual ports). Not sure if they are mistaken.
