Either get an intake that moves the filters out of the engine bay, or stick with drop in filters and silicone maf tubes. Short ram intakes will heat soak badly.

Either get an intake that moves the filters out of the engine bay, or stick with drop in filters and silicone maf tubes. Short ram intakes will heat soak badly. They show gains on a dyno with the hood open and a huge fan on it, but in the real world with a closed hood your intake air temperatures will be much higher than a CAI or even the stock setup.
