Hmmm. Consensus would seem to be the car doesn't matter - unless it's a really expensive whip. However, conventional wisdom would indicate that sports cars are phallic symbols and provide the owner an "ego" boost with an associated boost in confidence, etc. Notionally this would make the owner more successful with the ladies.

So, maybe the car does matter - just maybe not in the way one might think.

phallic symbol you say... why would anyone in their right mind drive a Miata or a Mini Cooper, lol.

Also, I though driving something like a Hummer could mean you're over compensating for something

OP, the car does work to impress women, but it can't be the initial thing. Don't even mention it. It's all about portraying value. You need to imply value without looking like a tool who brags about having a sports car. For a long time I only had pix of my cars on my facebook. I also have a pretty strict privacy filter on as well, lol. If the OP was looking to score chicks with his car, he needed to spend a lot more money or get a car that has a higher "status" with society. Conversely, I am usually trying to drive away before chicks can think about getting in my car, lol. A lot of them are trouble..............
