Do we know if there is a special trick to disassembly to make sure they can be reused? Or is it a straightforward removal/installation process? I am hoping to be able to reuse them in a motor build down the road.

Update!
Before posting anything I would really like to specially thank SAM@GTM Mike@GTM And thank you all for support After going back and forth with Sam and Mike about housing, we end up with a major upgrade.. GTX Turbos + .86 AR housing. I know Im late but better late than never right? Mike doesn't recommend .64 AR for GTX at all because they will limit the efficient of the GTX before they even wake up. That being said, they will still have fast spool as GT series with .64 AR if not even better and this is just what I want Now. Mike is asking what turbos do i need. GTX2863R or GTX2867R. Decision decision decision. any recommendations? For 7AT owners. Do Not Boost Your 7AT without Flex Plate Upgrade Available from GTM, why? here the proof. I didn't even notice any difference in drivability so we all will think the flex plate is just fine right? Im glad I took it off before it ruin my entire car. As you can see. the crack is everywhere LOL You can order the Flex Plate from here GTM Motorsports*::*AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION*::*GTM RE7 HD FLEX PLATE Last but not least. The heart is taking its shape

Looking great man!
If you're not shooting for 900hp+ I think GTX2867's will be an overkill. 2863's will spool better.

Haha I knew you were going to choose the 67 over 63
Im just curious about one thing, why did you got for GT30 instead of GTX2867? For the power you're having now can be easily achieved with GTX 28xx series The only reason that i came up with is because of lower heat of intake and intercooler since youll run lower boost and that means lower temp.. Anyways. I went with GTX2863R turbos with 86AR housing. Quote:
I already had a good conversation with Mike today and went with 63 and payment sent waiting for paid invoice

I'd always use whatever the person building the motor recommends.

No problem you made a wise choice with your turbo and housing selection. For oil I started off using 5W-30 regular oil then ended up switching to 5W-40 synthetic after sending my oil out for blackstone oil analysis.

Nice build!
What happens if the flex plate fails? Don't know much about my 7AT. How much power/torqu were you running on the 7AT before you saw the cracks?

Should've kept the meth kit man! It adds a safety margin at high boost and helps push aggressive ignition timing numbers on your GTX's.
