I hope there is an option for recirculated blow off valve. Is there ? Thank you

There will be since there are quite a few people that need it that way for one reason or another.

EDIT: Question now irrelevent, thanks to the above......

The GTR conversion kit will be coming soon from GTM. Look for a group buy in the weeks to come. Maybe longer. Lol.

Lol. :icon18:

The wow factor is really what I'm shooting for, if I can ever get my hands on the conversion plate from ChrisUR, or whoever can make it. I want badass manifold. ^^

I also just had a thought - is there really a point to doing power adder mods after this kit, since our motors will be maxed? I was looking into meth, e85 stuff, and 3 in exhaust, but I realized what would be the point, besides safety?

Dzel 06-25-2013 01:22 PM

I have 2.5 RTP's and my CBE is 2.75" I believe these are all the mods along with the turbo kit I intend on doing. Everything after this it will be suspension, brakes, and weight reduction.

Well I put a deposit and I'm real close to finishing purchase and didn't see my name there but doesn't matter as long as in in their systems and I get my kit no worries :D

Alkatraz 06-26-2013 02:15 AM

Hey Mike, don't shoot me for asking this, but with so many people all installing the kit at the same time (potentially), are we going to have issues with tuning delays?

I can imagine that once people start getting their installs finished, Sam may get flooded with requests for tuning. Do you foresee any issues here or have you already thought about this and have something in place?

Dzel 06-26-2013 02:08 PM

Very good question!

Alright, I'll bet you folks a pretty penny that GTM magically chooses July 4th as the ship date. :D

khanhvu411 06-29-2013 12:34 AM

I doubt it will be possible. There isn't an install manual yet and July 4th is nex week :)

NeverBoneStck 06-29-2013 01:02 AM

I bet .... Well , u guys will b waiting .

Dzel 06-29-2013 08:41 AM

Oh man I'm probably not going to put it in till next year anyway. But I still want it in my garage! I hope the installation manual comes out asap so we can make a decision on installs.

Sent with TapAhoe

SPOHN 06-29-2013 09:01 AM

You guys are a trip.

May I ask why this installation manual is so important? There's probably only 20% difference between the one they have already posted from there other kits. And that 20% has made it easier from there other kits.

COSMO 06-29-2013 09:43 AM

You guys should have No problems installing this kit since it involves No drilling or tapping of the motor or oil pan.. Lucky @sses!!!!!

Dzel 06-29-2013 01:33 PM

I need it to get an exact quote from a buddys shop on pricing for letting me use his garage. Along to make sure I've purchased all the right tools to complete it.

And pretty much to study, study, and study some more!

I taking it to Z1 Motorsports....I live in Orlando, FL

I don't trust anyone around here especially Titan Motorsports since they refuse to do a turbo install into any 370z. Shop manager was a tool :nutswinger:

That's not to far off. I see a bunch of BS here. But to refuse work, what does that say for themselves?

Alstann 06-29-2013 05:46 PM

It seems like it's more of a general idealistic view of forums to be general - people just read things, and spew them back out without any thought. Note this isn't all or even most people, just some. But to refuse a turbo install, when they have done one themselves, is kinda weak.

Said he won't turbo a 370 because they don't get to the end of the road before they overheat.

He claims he does Stillen SC's with no problems. Got offended when I said they don't make stated hp

COSMO 06-29-2013 06:13 PM

That's not his problem. If it overheats that's the drivers fault. Besides our cars have limp mode for that. It will get hot if tracking the car. But there's lots of things that can help for sure. Which is another costly thing. But hardly anyone tracks there FI setup to begin with. So to say it overheats before the end of the road is a huge over statement.

There all about the Supra's anyways.

SPOHN 06-29-2013 06:51 PM

I will be upgrading to the Turbosmart Big Bubba. Probably the loudest BOV there is. It's big.

Compared to there typical BOV's

Infidel 06-29-2013 06:58 PM

He stated I would not make it home, much less to the track.

Says he's never seen one not go into limp mode no matter what cooling mods were done.

Talked to me like I was an idiot. Wife thought he was very arrogant. No big deal...plenty of supras and GTRs in the shop, he didn't need my money.

First, I would like to confirm with a GTM 70mm radiator properly installed, along with using Uprev to reprogram so that the fan turns on sooner ( Maybe at 190F ) with a little more fan duty cycles, along with just a 25 row Setrab oil cooler properly installed, there is NO WAY you will ever get the oil temperature to even close to a limp mode. I have proven it already many times:

Driven at 125F constantly at medium to occasional high rpm for about 6 hours across the San Bernardino county to Vegas , oil temp never exceeded 210F, whereas without the radiator mod , it did get up to 250F ( Even with the oil cooler installed)

Now, if turbocharging the vehicle at 11 psi, it is IMPERATIVE that you must have the cooling system property modified like I did, or else there is a big chance that the Z factory radiator will be insufficient to cool down the additional tremendous heat even with the fan running at all time.... since the darn thing is so crappy cheap with a narrow single row. The alternative for a cheaper cost is to use the CFS radiator, which is a direct fit. While the CFS radiator cooling capacity is not nearly as good as the GTM 70mm radiator, it is still quite a bit better than the factory unit.

These are the links to my GTM radiator installation:

http://www.the370z.com/diy-section-d...t-2-final.html

WARNING : If you blow the engine in anyway, especially the head gaskets, you will severely overheat the engine does not matter what radiator you have. Just a reminder and I am sure everyone knows this.

Baer383 06-29-2013 08:18 PM

Just to point out that the CSF radiator is not a direct bolt in part.
