Would you consider the downpipe or test pipe to make more noise? Don't u have emission problems with the TPs?[/QUOTE]

the sound is probably similar, however with the downpipes you need to run 3" catback.

Alkatraz 01-07-2014 01:24 AM

Can anyone give an idea of the sound level comparison between NA with HFC's and cat back vs turbo's, test pipes and cat back? A comparo with the Fast Intentions exhaust would be best.

I'm loving how loud mine is right now and am hoping that it doesn't quieten down too much with the turbo's and TP's. With cops behind me they don't blink an eyelid but if I get on it, everyone looks :P

I've been trying for six weeks to get my refund! Can't get any response from gtm horrible customer service . I have been more than patient and have given gtm more than enough time to refund my money . Im beginning to think something is going wrong at gtm ! Starting to think they might be having financial problems . Good luck to anyone trying to get money back so far I haven't had any ! Thanks gtm !!!

After seeing what people have had to go through to get refunded, I'm starting to think they don't have any liquid cash on hand. The parts and equipment they had to buy may have made things a little tight around there.

That's exactly what I'm thinking might have got in over their heads . And by the way I don't even have a problem with them keeping my 25% which they made me aware of almost instantly when I requested my refund bit since then nothing!

Yup think about it, they had to repair the bender (not cheap), they sent 2 employees to learn how to run the machine (not cheap), and they had a technician come down to set up the machine (again not cheap).

Not to mention paying for the oursourced parts of the kit. Building something like this in these quantities is a fairly cash-intensive process. As a business, you're coming out of pocket early to make it back on the back end. Once you start having issues, it can really hit the fan.

didnt they say the bender alone was a million??? (i might be wrong)

I'm calling them tomorrow to see if theres any updates. i have been very patient with them, but my patience is running very thin, and i can't wait much longer.

Yes, right. Also running a production ( manufacturing line ) of this many kits while ensuring the best quality possible is even much more complex. GTM is conducting the entire operation on a very tight budget and this is the result.

But I don't blame them since cash is very , very difficult to come by now a day and no venture capitalists are willing to risk on this kind of business. I know some of you are pretty agitated and I can understand that completely. Let's just hope that they will hold themselves together and come out with a killer product by the end. I am still patient with them... at least for another while.

im just curious would the catted fi exhaust eliminate CEL light from coming on?

No, the cats are way downstream past the O2 sensors. The CEL for not having cats is turned off on turbo kits anyway.

Agreed. While I am also becoming impatient, I still hold out hope for a kit that can deliver. For the price point, I am still happy with my pre-order buy in. Cast parts, GT series turbos, baffled oil pan? Can't argue with that. Add in your own oil cooler and supporting mods, and it's a fully done build.

If there's no free cash for a refund, there's no free cash to sue for. The only ones who would make anything off that would be the lawyers.
