For me it's coming up with the installation costs. I'll be taking it to Z1 (from Orlando) to do the install and they're NOT CHEAP. I still have to come up with money for an oil cooler and radiator. Gonna need gauges and probably a boost controller. I knew I would be needing this stuff and factored the cost in when I made the purchase (paid in full on first day). But with a wife and three kids and one job for the household things change, I HAD the money back in July/August when I thought the kit was coming out. Now I have to sell a bunch of sh*t and con my wife into taking some money out of the safe to get it done.

Thanks. I've done a lot and still have a good bit of cool mods coming that are unseen. Sticking it out? Not sure. I will be calling first thing in the morning. Tomorrow will be judgement day :eek:. Not sure if there's anything that can be said to save this deal. Especially since I don't take free offers.

I do wish you guys the best and stick with it. For me it's strictly personal. I come to know Sam and he's a super cool guy and hope to remain friends after.

Um they've had a prototype for quite some time. In fact, they let me take it for a test drive months ago.

SPOHN, I feel for you. I've been in your boat a time or two myself. It doesn't feel good. You're the only one that can make that decision. And you're going to be second guessing yourself after you make it. :(

I've never said anything much in this thread. I want to be boosted too. But I'm not going to put big money into a group buy until I can see the finished product. I can go either way, this kit or FI. I got the money. But neither company has put a kit in anyone's hands yet. The general public. So, I'm holding back.

Wattles is the guy who has had the 16G kit on his car for months now! Or are you guys saying that there is no 370z with the kit installed? G37 or 370z = practically the same platform.

It's even worse that the guy who gave them a test car isn't getting updates.

I agree, I paid for my kit in full with a personal check shortly after they started accepting money for the kit. I could be on here fussing and moaning or I can be patient.

Well I'm taking it as it comes (with no Vaseline).

Remember I told you guys a happy wife is a happy life... Well my wife is pissed because of all this. This is my first car that I've built with her around. So she thinks it's always like this. So instead of doing the install like I wanted early next year I will have to wait till the year after next! Just cause of not getting any updates or parts.
