since my last post i have had the rebuild on the auto car in manuel mode is great except for going into 3rd it shifts to hard this was about 2 months ago the guy who did the install said the valve body was the one of the main causes of burning out the auto (as well as driving the car a little hard and in the higher gears) so i have bitten the bullit and purchased a new valve body with the up grade from GTM i just had it installed and pick it up in 2 days and leave some feed back on the total rebuild and the valve body up grade

So I'm interested to know how the GTM valve body upgrade went and how it is now? I went FI with the Stillen kit and have the 7AT and I'm getting some really funky shifting and the tuner Dai he can't do any more adjustments with it. I have heard about the GTM valve body upgrade being problematic, have you had any issues ?

Tuner said he had heard some issues with the GTM valve body and its shifting afterwards, so want to find out from someone that actually has one installed.

No typical drama here pal, just was stating that I had heard issues with the "valve body upgrade", not the full trans. And that's what was told to me and I was asking for folks that had put the GTM valve body upgrade in, not that I was saying it was fact that it was bad..lol Hence the reason I was "asking" and not "stating" that as a factoid, my original post was a "question". So please refrain from "creating" that drama with such a post..

Good to know Z eliminator, I am referring to just the VBU and not the whole trans, but good to know the built trans are good, ai was looking at those but not pushing enough for the whole trans though was checking out the VBU

Just asking for "user" experience from those that have applied the GTM VBU as I would like to hear from actual people that have applied it, reason for my post., I don't take anything on the "I heard" scenario which is why I ask at all.

I'm glad you are asking this question and I have no problem with it whatsoever. After all, this is the whole purpose of the technical forum. On that note, it will be useful to us and to all members to share the concerns you heard about. This way, we can address them. It just does not make sense to bring up such a point and not follow through with more details.

So let me simplify my question so we can be on the same page. Please share the concern to qualify that the valve body upgrade we offer is problematic.

The reason why I'm prying on this is because I think you owe it to the forum members on here to let them know what you know.

Sam

One can pretty much say for any product out there that they had heard that someone else heard that there was a problem with said product. It just seems like trolling unless since it does nothing for anyone.
