Yes it would be cheaper. Things like EMS can be taken out of the kit to bring the price down.

The kit comes with a 340lph fuel pump (not a 255lph like the other kits) so there is a lot of fuel even for built engines. One could run the fuel pump off of a relay with heavier gauge wires, triggered by the OEM fuel pump power supply. This would reduce the voltage drop across the smaller OEM wires, and improve fuel pump output. I would not do this unless you are going with the large 67mm billet turbo on a built block.
