And how many miles or km has the first installed car run so far? I'm curious about the durability of the stock clutch.
Boost and a/f monitoring IMO are good to have. Things like oil pressure/temperature I would say are not needed, but people have preferences. This is why no kit out there includes gauges...there are too many to choose from.

As for milage, I am not sure to be honest. I can tell you that there are enough miles on it to destroy the OEM clutch. New clutch was installed a couple of weeks ago, still in the breakin stages I think.

I think that with this kit and a stock clutch 8psi of boost will be the norm. Remember the kit made 513whp (peak, see first post) and the boost pressure at that point was 8psi. The kit is very efficient, and puts down a lot of HP/Psi of boost. The broad torque curve is a big factor when it comes to clutch holding power, and the OEM is just not built for it.

New clutch is still in the break in stage. The factory clutch only started failing when it got cold. If your in a warm climate you may be able to squeeze a little more life out of it.

Just out of curiosity, what clutch did you go with this time?

Good idea, less to disassemble when adding the turbo later!

I should think about this too. My Buddy has the specialty Z clutch and likes it as well. Just recently got my fast intentions so I'm good to go there, but I doubt I'll buy this before next year it's already Oct!!

Another few pic of the jig here. As you can see this can be very time consuming, but at the same time must be done right, with high percision.

With the piping out, you can see how it would be very difficult to make a set of pipes that don't fit just right:

I also got a new 6266 turbo in a couple of day ago for a local build, so I thought I compare it to a turbo that is very common on the VQ twin turbo kits out there.

For starters, have a look at the turbine housing difference in size:

The twin scroll turbine inlets are the same size as the entire inlet of a GT28 (T25) turbo. This is one of the reasons the twin scroll is so efficient. You have both banks (exhaust) powering/moving onc turbine wheel and one compressor wheel vs. two of each.

The exhaust side of the turbine housings:

The compressor wheel of course will be much larger as well:

And of course, this is the business end, a 62mm billet compressor wheel:

Well, I think it's safe to say that the most complex jig I have ever built is complete:

Now it is just a matter of getting all the bends, placing them in the jig, and welding it all up. Like lego:

I have received a number of PM's recently from people that can't wait for this to become available. All the jigs will be done by the end of this week, and at that poing I will start the "official" production. The plan is to get 6 kits built as soon as possible and get them ready to go.

Deposits of $3,000 will be taken, and at that point the following will go out:

UpRev EMS
750cc Injectors with clips (plug'n play)
340 lph fuel pump
FMIC
BOV
Waste gates
Scavenge pump

The turbo will have to be shipped to me first for the compressor outlet modification (welding a cast 2" 90deg elbow on the outlet). As soon as that is done, the rest of the hardware will be ready to ship. At that point the balance is due.

I have already made 6 sets of FMIC brackets, oil reservoir tank, and scavenge pump brackets. On order is a lot of stainless braid hose with fittings, so I will be making all of those shortly as well.
