Just had my first experience actually working on V1.5 and I had the turbo in and out in about 30 mins. Sure you have to pull it to change the air filter but at 30mins to change the air filter I dont think that is at all bad considering to change many of the CAI you have to pull your front bumper and that takes about the same amount of time. Its a great change to a already great kit.

It definitely is much nicer to work with. The FI with this kit does sound very good.

Does the FI not directly fit on the G?

it would if in was NA. the mating flanges between the lead pipes and crossover pipes are in a different location between a Z and a G on the FI exhaust. since the BP kit is not actually made for the G, massaging is needed.

Can someone with the 370z DE momentum headers that installed this kit pm me with details on how they changed the flang? Does it have to be mocked up to do it? I don't really have a decent welding shop close. Is it a matter of just changing the flange? Or is there length difference too? Just really don't know how to transport the car from one place to the other mid change

The thing I thought about was having to mock the kit up to do the welds.. means a lot of wrench time to just line everything up. I suppose I could rent a trailer and tow the car over when it's time to make it fit. Just kind of a pain. Maybe Sasha can chime in, but I seem to remember the fitment being very close, just different flanges

Definitely thinking one of these is in my future... It will be a while before I get there though.

The geometry is the same, but the angle at which the three bolt flanges sit is a bit different. It is best to get the flanges welded on the car that has the DE aftermarket headers.

Is it possible to get everything 100% done except for the welds, and trailer it to get welded?

Which way does the oil flow through everything? Is the scavenge pump, turbo and oil cooler all after the oil filter?
Basically wondering what i need to try to flush or replace if I have metal flakes in the oil pan.

Get a magnetic drain plug, and the magnetic filter clasp that goes around the filter
