Need advice for 370z mainly track

They are very useful and "relatively cheap" but you need end links with them. But not having them will not ruin your day.

I'd use that money first for:
Track Safety Gear:
A proper set of racing fire retardant gloves, shoes, socks, and under garments. Bright color gloves help with point bys.
A fire extinguisher and mount. I use to following
The Bracketeer Car Fire Extinguisher Bracket
Amerex Handheld Extinguisher - Halon 2.5lb

Those things are nice but realistically how many people at the track actually have all that and this is his first track experience (if I read right). Odds are he will need a lot of track time before he’s even near pushing it to the limits to require all that. Just get the car in a comfortable spot and learn slow and safe.

I agree he more then likely will be at 30-40%

You're right, that's why I didn't list them as mandatory or even very useful. It was suggested to get sway bars too but I though any one of those would be money better spent initially.
