***Topgunz ROTREX C38R Supercharger Kit***

This is awesome! So what's the upgrade path / cost for those of us w/ the ACE kit? Or haven't you gotten there yet?

There will be a buy back program. I have not worked out the numbers.

Amazing results!!

2 questions:
1) Is there any particular reason you only ran up to 7k rpm on the dyno?
2) Is the boost control function included in the price of the kit currently listed on your website?

EDIT: Ran out of injector... nevermind lol

Is it going back on the dyno with the boost controller? If so, can you give 17 psi results.

How much boost/power can we safely run on the stock motor with this kit?

My guess is many factors contribute to it. I always was under the impression 12-14psi was max. But, that was because some guys were going SI trim on the Vortech, upgrading the turbine, upgraded bearings to overspin. That was bringing on the torque hard early in the power band. Torque is the breaking factor for rods/spun bearings.

I don't think i actually ever heard of anyone actually going through a headgasket with the v1/v2 kits even at 16psi.

So, how much boost can we safely go before headgasket problems.

I also want to know... how much of the Knock sensitivity is being turned down for these numbers 16-20psi?

We will be going back to the dyno with 1450cc injectors and boost control in place. We have the Innovate SCG-1 so we can dial it right in.

Yes torque is more of a factor on motor longevity. However, it also hugely depends on how that torque is delivered. Do you see how perfectly linearly the torque gets ramped in on these kits? That is friendly to the motor as it does not experience an impact of it. Also the higher in the rpm band you can push the torque the easier peak torque is on the engine.

Turbos take all that torque and slam it in very early in the rpm band which is that "rush" feeling...and then they taper off. This is also a fun experience as it hits like a freight train, but is harder on rods. Go look at a dyno graph of a single or twin turbos and see how the torque looks.

This kit brings torque in and it just keeps climbing which is a totally different experience than turbo setups. The car just keeps pulling and pulling like its trying to exit the damn atmosphere! Much more predictable. Especially for a track setup.

I have no idea as I didnt tune it. But knowing Eugene and the fact, that to my knowledge, he has never blown a motor...Id say he left them untouched. I know 100% for sure he keeps on all safety features. Some tuners out there turn these off completely to make "numbers".

Honestly, there is still a ton of power to be made with this kit. But the car owner doesnt really want to see what its full potential is right now since its the beginning of car season.

However, DYNOSTY is getting one of the first kits and is going to full send it!!

I speak conservatively when I say 800whp will be broken.

IIRC you mentioned previously that these numbers were on E85, when should we expect to see the 93 numbers? I'd love to go E85, but it's just not readily available in my area (without a 45min one-way trip)

Another Q: what was the fuel system/components for this vehicle?
Rusty, Optimiser and DaveZ03 like this.

That torque line is pretty insane. Decisions, decisions, decisions. I'm working on a built bottom end this year in my spare time, so when that is done... I start deciding which FI solution I'll go with.
