***Topgunz ROTREX C38R Supercharger Kit***

Topgun Speedworks is consistently striving to create the best supercharger kit on the market. We are in the process of releasing an all new supercharger kit for the VQ37VHR platform utilizing the Rotrex C38R-112. This kit will have numerous benefits over the ACE kit and make more power than any kit on the market.

Utilizing the Rotrex C38R we plan to achieve the following:

- Increased HP/TQ
- Increased efficiency
- Decreased intake temps
- Decreased Maintenance (Oil changes every 50,000 miles vs 7,500 miles on the V3)
- Quieter operation (no more harsh supercharger gear backlash or ""marbles"" effect)
- Optional On the fly boost control (In cabin)
- Optional full size cone filter in bumper with Straight through design.
- Optional full BOV recirculation with PCV ingestion (Emission and CARB compliancy)
- Optional pre Supercharger MAF placement (Emission and CARB compliancy)

To be somewhat comparable I went to Vortechs website and pulled up the massive Ti supercharger since it is closer to the power range of the C38R. However, as seen by the compressor maps below you can see how the C38R efficiency island is much, much better than that of even the Ti.

Update 4-07-2021

Topgun Speedworks ROTREX kit release!!! With a FULL FILTER!!

708whp!
556wtq!
21.5psi!

All at only 7000rpm rev limit!

Stock block!

We ran out of injector. We were at 107% injector duty cycle at 7000rpm. Conservative tune.

This kit will hit 23+psi and make 750whp pretty easily with more fuel. With a full filter! We need a built motor to see what happens with a turboguard.

This kit will be able to bleed off boost for whatever power you want to make.

Still the most affordable supercharger kit on the market!

Tuned by the best... Eugene Turkov

TOPGUN SPEEDWORKS ROTREX SC KIT Vs. competition SCs.

www.topgunspeedworks.com

Rotrex: Record breaking 556+wtq and 22+ psi out of the box with a full filter
Competition: V3 requires overspinning and a sand eating turboguard for only 15psi.
Rotrex:Full filter that can be cleaned in 5 minutes.
Comp:Dirt and sand ingesting turboguard..or motorcycle filter that restricts psi to 12 and requires the removal of the entire supercharger to clean.
Rotrex: Stock plenum
Competition: Stillen plenum requiring MAF and TB extension harnesses which are extremely problematic and known heatsoak issues
Rotrex: Purrs like a kitten and whines like a F1 car
Competition: Marbles in a coffee can due to gear backlash
Rotrex: Ability to dial in exactly what psi you want to run with in cabin boost select options
Competition: Choice between 8psi or 9psi pulley. Manually removing them to swap.
Rotrex: 50,000 mile service (oil change) Once every 3.5 years
Competitor: 7,000 mile service (oil change) Once every 6 months
Rotrex: 10 rib supercharger belt, no slip serpentine belt, 10 second tensioner adjustment design
Competition: 8 rib supercharger belt, serpentine belt slip common, most guys remove the supercharger to tighten it down
Rotrex: Most affordable supercharger kit on the market that can break 500whp.
Competition: More expensive.

***We are just scratching the surface on what this kit can do!***

Congrats Aaron. Looking forward to seeing how the Rotrex performs. By all indications, it should perform very well. And you don't have to deal with the sh1tty customer/tech service of vortech.

Right on man! I haven’t logged into the forum in ages, but this setup may be just what I’ve been waiting for. Will be a lot more friendly for a daily IMO.

Boss! Now he comes out with something I been saying for years

GrayGhost 02-25-2021 07:45 PM

So will this replace your Ace kit or will it be another product? I can’t imagine a major price difference between kits.

Nice to see conaiderations for CARB/emission compliance. Are you actually going to get the kit CARB tested for those in california, and elsewhere with strict emissions compliance?

Also what are we looking at in terms of boost figures, and will there be an option for conversion from your old kit?

SS_Firehawk 02-25-2021 08:08 PM

Well, you have my attention for sure.

Any durability testing data you can share on the kit?
