You can buy them from MA Motorsports. They are not that expensive. The hardest part is getting it installed. That is when the fun begins. A chain wrench works wonders at holding the crank pulley while using a breaker bar to get the stock bolt loosened.

I was only offering to buy it if your labor was included...

Tell you what. I will do all the waiting for you. I will pick up the car for you when it is ready. I will test drive it and make sure everything is good for you. Then I will deliver it to you. All you have to do is make sure it's paid for :tiphat:

Guess I will have to keep going. I need this to be completed soon. My stress level is at an all time high at work and home. I guess some days you have to kick your feet up and say F' it.

I feel ya. My car's 15 moths old, only has 1700 miles on it and has been in and out of the shop for mods about 6 of those 15 months. Almost finished though (yeah, like I believe that).

Spooler 08-30-2018 12:54 PM

The reality is Rusty didn't have any money so I have to keep everything. He's so broke he is not even allowed
to dream about a TT upgrade.

We need somebody that has some musical talent to write us good old blues songs. The title of the album would be Boosted Blues!

Paying for it is no fun. The waiting is just nuts and extremely difficult to deal with.

I hear ya, I have the same set of emotions each time I do a costly upgrade and the car is gone for months. The waiting and anticipation is just stressful followed by come get it and excitement, to here is what you owe me and wtf really...to pure enjoyment and exhilaration! This followed by it was totally worth it and who cares how much it cost you want to see why?!!!! :driving:

I read that. You need to throw the ball back in a fast manner for the win. So, One stinky rotten fast ball please. I need 3 of them.

My engine should be out of the machine shop this week. Parts inventory taken and getting ready for assembly. Fingers crossed we shall have an assembled motor soon.

I don't get excited about much of anything. This, I will be excited. I may not show it much but I will be. Once I get behind the wheel, this will be all so worth it.

How many more months do you have?

My engine is still in machine shop prison. Maybe one day it will get paroled.

Nah .. paroled .......... built engines have paroled revoked from time-to-time and have to return to machine-shop 'cos they have been a bit naughty.

We all hope it does not happen but it can .............

This is exactly why I am keeping the stock brother engine. Sometime's a family can have a bad apple that always ends up at the machine shop no matter what you do. :)

You should have rode with me when I was younger. LOL I am older and wiser. I learned long ago to not be in it to win it
with a passenger. Doing STUPID with a passenger is not much fun.

It better come together soon. I have a ton of patients, but when they run out. They are out. I can finish my shop and then some for what I will be paying for labor.

Maybe wouldn’t be a bad idea to drop in (unexpected) & pay a visit...Just get a good look at what’s going on. As I’ve known how long you’ve been waiting to start the “Wabbit-Hole” adventure!
I don’t think much about my future build,,,as I’m probably 1 year minimum away...a lotta things can happen between now & then.
Hang in there; but having the new trailer does give you the option to load everything up & haul somewhere else (if needed).
:)

The reality is it is not MA's fault. The machine shop is overloaded. Why, maybe he is the only one in the area that does perfectionate work. I am not sure. That is what normally happens. I am trying to figure out is there a way I can speed things up. It is just a bad place to be in. I have been in MA's shoes before. IT is NOT fun.

Give him a bucket of cash. And he will move you up in line. When I worked at Elliott. If companies want their stuff fast. They paid extra to be moved up in line. The only time that didn't happen was when we had to get parts from a foundry. Sometimes that was a 24 month wait.

I should have done that months ago. LOL Live and learn.

Got an update today. Machine shop says 2 weeks. Need to hone the cylinders and assemble the engine. Got my fingers crossed.
