I am gonna put my foot up in it. LOL

There might be some redneck hooting/hollering and some school girl giggling going on at the same time. I feel sorry for the poor fool who rides with me.

SEMA will probably mess things up for a week. Not sure if MA is going but I would think they are. They are trying to get one of the cars in the shop finished to make room for me. I will be happy to drag my hooptie up and meet everyone. It will be the first time using the my new trailer. I still need to get a winch and battery installed.

I am sure it will be a flying trip. You can ask Bob how I do. LOL I am trying to figure out how to get up and back with one sleepover. I need to find a safe no thievery place for that. It's a 12hr trip one way for me.

Spooler 10-28-2018 07:15 PM

From all the weather changes my knee's have been giving me crap. I feel quite useless sometimes. Just simple walking is a challenge. This time of the year is tough.

If this is something you guys want to do, let me know. It's about 2 hours from me, I'd definitely be up for a meet.

I'll use either my wife's G37x or my truck. Either way, we can make it happen.

When is your car supposed to be done? I'm hoping we will get mine running before Christmas..

Waiting on the motor to come out of the machine shop. They hit a snag with another engine before me and that has delayed mine. Not sure when it will be completed. John's riding the guys butt.

Spooler 11-11-2018 08:23 PM

Still waiting on the motor.... Happy Veterans day everyone. One thing is for sure, you never forget the ladies/fellow's you served with when it got thick. I can still see their faces just like it was yesterday. Wondering how life treated them over the years.

Spooler 11-15-2018 08:37 PM

Well I guess I am glad I bought an enclosed trailer. It didn't even cross my mind I might have to tow through a snow storm. Ice, I am not even going to attempt it.

Well. I loaded the car in the trailer for the first time tonight. I needed a ramp because of size of my front splitter lol. She fits nice and there is plenty of room for stuff. I haven't installed my winch yet so climbing through the window was quite the circus act.

Your door hit the inside fender I assume. Crap, I was wondering about that. What lb. winch did you have on your other trailer? 5000lb?

I bought a CSF triple pass radiator from Z1. They have them at $100 off. I have done boosted before on a NA car and I know what will happen. It will overheat in stop and go traffic. I am only expecting the radiator to last 2 years at best. Oh well, if it keeps the heat soak down in stop and go traffic it will be worth it. I just don't want to cut holes in my car unless I absolutely have to. We shall see.
