LOL, this was too funny. Cars you build/buy are made to be driven. :ugh2::ugh2:

When I get mine back up and going. This little speed bump is not going to make me change my mind. I will rack up the miles again.

Another one. He stole Rusty's car and drove it in the snow.

Time to talk about compression ratio's. Here is an comment in the video I am watching.
Vlog coming soon.

Nothing to do with engine speed. Compared to running at a 8:0 compression ratio, you will have more power off boost and when you stay under 18 psi of boost. At zero boost, you'll be making 3.6% more power thanks to the higher compression ratio. When you are at 15psi of boost, you'll be making 0.8-percent more power. Once you go over 19spi of boost, you'll be making less power than the lower compression ratio. At 30psi, you'll be down 2.0-percent in power versus what you would have been making if you kept the engine at 8.0:1. If you are making 600whp with the 10:1 setup, you would have made 612whp with the 8.0:1 setup at 30psi of boost.

Still watching. I am hoping to get the Math to solve the problem.

Here is a good read.

https://dsportmag.com/the-tech/educa...tio-101-part2/

Looking at the charts, it is a wash to drop the compression if my peak boost psi will be 24psi. I will stay below 20psi of boost most of the time so there would
be a loss of power on the lower boost settings (.8%). Now if i went to 30psi of boost it would be beneficial. I would gain 1.4%.

Waiting on my Suckerpunch oil pump. Once I have that, motor will be taken to Mazworx.

One thing I didn't have for my build was Catch cans. I think I have finally found what I was looking for. I like the SOHO catch can combo but I don't like not being able to see the coolant level and I would need to convert to a non-pressurized setup. I am leaning toward getting the Radium catch can setup. Looks like a quality kit.

When I ordered my pressurized catch can from SOHO there was a delay on the pressurized one's then they sent me a email saying they weren't making the pressurized set up anymore so I had to convert over to the non pressurized. I'll be pissed if I find out they're still selling the pressurized set up. :shakes head:

They are not. They found an issue with them.

That's what Nik told me too at the time. I do like their set up.
