I am sending my brake ducts to MA to be installed. Just need the 3in. backing plates made and hose installed. I hope the CAC and intake pipes are not in the way. Hotrodz was able to get his done so I should be good.

Yep it is a tight fit! I'm sure they can make it fit.

I need some safety. I am only terrified of one thing, loosing my brakes. I want to drive the car and see how they do. If I have any issues a Stoptech BBK kit will go on the car. I am not playing around with this at all. I won't dicky do around with my brakes.

You just got to get used too the speed again. Everything comes up on you fast and you have to anticipate start slowing down sooner. The other part of the game is having really responsive brakes gives you the opportunity to brake late and those that are following too close at speed cannot brake as hard makes being rear ended a real deal as you already know more than the rest of us. Better rotors and pads may be all you need. Use brake fluid equivalent to Castro SRF racing fluid as it really makes a difference on brake fill and responsiveness. Also get a Z1 master cylinder brace as it will aid in the performance of your brakes.

I already have the rotors and pads. Z1 2-piece rotors on all 4 corners and Carbotech XP8 pads on all 4 corners. I use Motul RBF600, I may change to the Castrol SRF later. We shall see. I have had enough dealings with undersized brakes, I will be able to tell real quick after getting the car back on what I need to do. If anything.

All I am saying is on the street I found my track setup to be sufficient at 600 whp. The only thing different is 10XP up front. They squeal and dust but they work. I am changing my front rotors to Stoptech 2 piece because the Z1s are worn and I was getting significant shudder at my last track event. With all that people are experiencing with Z1 rotors at the track I decided I would do something different rather than rebuild my front rotors.

I got new steels for my fronts and pads all around. We shall see.

Elmo370z 07-18-2019 12:05 PM

I have never had a problem with over 90k driven. Track driving is a different story. After everything that I have done, I will not skimp on brakes. Plenty of go now, gotta get the, Wo horsey, dialed in.
