:excited: I'm excited for you man. LFG!!!

Next to gbrettin, this is going to be one helluva Z build.

husam2012 09-22-2022 05:09 PM

Finally doing the right thing. I have a lot of GTR parts and engine parts. Let me know if you need anything.

I might be designing the motor mount brackets to mount it to the Z subframe with some clearancing of the upper pan that way you can keep the stock oil pan. Hoping to do that in the next few months.

I need a junkyard long block that is good. I am going dry sump to make everything work better. I am done with the VQ.

I saw what you went through. LOL, what you did was a bitch to do.

Spooler 09-23-2022 11:22 AM

WOW, 1200whp on a VR38 is just a basic build. Piston, Rods, CA625 head studs, and fire rings. Nothing special. Cams and Valve springs if you want to spin it 9000rpms.

husam2012 09-23-2022 12:59 PM

Don't even need fire rings for 1200whp. Keep it simple.. Stock crank with rods and pistons and head studs is good for 1000 ft lbs. Did a few VR38 builds to 1100-1200whp recently.

Spooler 09-23-2022 01:18 PM

My Mazworx engine just sold. I have a Fast Intentions new Stage 2 turbo kit is for sale. It is the old stage 2.5 with GT3076 turbos.

Rear wheel drive, I want to keep it down to 850tq.

To be fair... there are a lot of kits out there now that would make everything easy, right down to the wiring.

I want to keep the whacking and modifying down to a minimal. I can do that with the VR38.

phunk 09-23-2022 08:20 PM

Once its all done and your racing it, I look forward to the call for a DCT adapter :)

If I have to buy a new clutch, I am sure not throwing that money away. I would rather spend it on the DCT trans swap. It will be a little while before I am ready. Getting some of the parts I need are going to take a while.

If you have not lived through anyone of those situations you are lucky. If you have never pushed yourself to get to the next level, you are weak. Life is hard, only a lucky few have things handed to them. Have things fall in their lap. Life is sometimes a test of your will. Your will to do better and get to where you want to go no matter what other people say or do. Your will to be successful, your will to Never give up no matter what happens. It's up to you.

He had some issues going on. It took 21psi of boost to make in the 7xxwhp. I made that at 17psi. I was 778whp. They had a problem and didn't recognize it. I will leave it at that.

Noop, they are not cheap at all. I needed them though. You can just do the front kit only and do the rears later. They were Engineered to be able to do that and not cause issues.

Spooler 10-15-2022 11:16 AM

They did mockup my car for what they call their street kit. So, that one will be available in the future. I got the competition kit front and rear.
