Its been pretty proven that the tuner has a HUGE hand in how long the tranny is going to hold for you. I dont think you can top Sebs in this department.
Yes, the centrifugal SC's are by far the kindest to a tranny, and motor for that matter. The torque eases in as linearly as naturally aspirated and do not slam in all at once like turbo's or Positive displacement superchargers (Whipples, Eatons, etc...) This is why on the ford raptor superchargers you have to upgrade the oil pump to a billet one with the Whipple kit but you can leave it alone with the Vortech since it doesnt jolt the internals.
