Sooooo, I have a surprised for you guys. I refused to acknowledge the fact that I had to send out my blower to have an impeller upgrade. I decided to hell with it and upgrade to the largest known trim for the V3. It's specially made for C07 corvettes and a couple of the Vortech reps didn't even know it existed for some odd reason.

May I introduce you to the Ti-Trim. same internal gear ratio, larger 3.75” inlet, larger and differently contoured impeller. It's got a much higher CFM rating and in the corvette world, you are expected to build your engine when upgrading from the Si-trim to this. Will I blow up my engine? I guess we'll find out in a couple days.

Seriously though, it's supposed to double the boost, so this is uncharted territory as of now. I have a feeling that it won't be too crazy, but I've seen a 350z run this and he was @19psi (was forced to build his block after about a year of tracking it). I have a couple solutions if it gets that point, but I'll revisit those if it comes down to it.

I'm not looking to break records here, but Seb will give me some of his time while at SEMA. Hopefully we can work something out and possibly have a better alternative than swapping over to something like a V2 blower.

My a2a isn't Topgunz kit but very similar, I would recommend any you that don't have a great tuner to use Seb! I had my car tuned by a different tuner the first time before I blew the engine, he spent hours trying to get it right because I was never happy with it but it was never right to me. Seb has only done 4 flashes on my car after we found some problems and the car runs way better than it ever did from the other tuner.

Not needed unless you track the car hard. I never had a heat issue. Oil cooler is much higher priority.

It will run cooler than the water setup because your air intake temps will be much cooler.

I live in AZ where we were in the mid 90's till just last week.
Water temps with AC blasting, no over heating, even middle of the summer with stock radiator. But I do run a 34 row oil cooler.

Hey guys, sooo I just finished the install of the Ti trim V3 a few hours ago. Many thanks to TopGunz and Evan for answering all my noob questions.

I have some vids, but wanted to see what you all thought about this:

On the first startup, the first thing I noticed was a violent amount of vibration in the cabin. It's odd because when I'm on the throttle or in 'Drive', the vibration goes away and the car drives normally. Once I put it in park or reverse, the vibrating is noticeable. I also notice it when starting the engine too. (refer to the YouTube video links below)

After driving it for about 10 miles, the vibrations got a lot more tolerable. Definitely a lot less now, but it's still there.

I already checked all the bolts and everything looks fine. I did notice that if I held down the supercharger with my hand with some pressure, the vibration will lessen.

Any input would be appreciated. I'm assuming this may be normal behavior for a break-in period? I've never had a brand new V3 blower, so I'm not positive on my end. That or this blower is just straight up violent.

Video of startup: https://youtu.be/QQ6tJ6kD7EA
(Pay attention to the cranking. You can hear it's rough. I can def feel it a lot in the pedal.)

Video of Park and Drive: https://youtu.be/YE_eAcdQrag
(Notice there's a 'wum wum wum' noise in park, but when the rpms raise in drive, it's gone. Reverse vibrates like crazy btw)

Really hard to tell anything's wrong in those videos. I have to ask. You put oil in the sc right?

Sounds normal to me but did you make sure the supercharger isn't hitting the frame below it?

Yeah I just realized it's very hard to tell from the videos. Oil is fine and it's not hitting anything. The vibration is very noticeable in person. I noticed that it's only happening at lower RPMs.

Yeah I had a similar issue but my intake tubing was up against my strut brace also. I spaced it out with washers and the vibration went away. Just check everywhere where the piping could possibly hit any of the frame or metal on metal. And of course makes sure the bolts on the supercharger and bracket are really tight.
