Correct me if im wrong, I had my bracket extended about an inch aswell because my 3" wasn't taking up the required tension? I could be wrong but I swore

I could be wrong but I swore mine wouldn't tighten down without the extended slot. I forgot which thread we did this all in? I couldn't find it Can you find it topz? __________________
