Saw that, I thought it was a different one that had a built engine not this one. A TT or something like that...

Yeah I talk with Phil quite often who built the car. I will be around the same psi with my build but will be on E. if I don't make 700 minimum I'll be upset. Lol

Daaam where is that car located? First time I've seen that thing...Those are very impressive numbers...I wonder how the piping is on that set up.

The piping is similar to tops first set where the volute stayed like it came from Stillen. He also has his BOV right before the throttle bodies which is a little different. And the dyno runs were without a filter on the supercharger.

Yeah I noticed that regarding the BPV placement. I wonder if his MAFs are still pre-blower.

I hope u hit ur goal Evan and hit the 700s man.....

Yeah they are on underside of pipework just before the manifold

Without a filter any guy with my kit will make an extra 75whp if you take it off. I took mine off and was on my way to making well over 600whp but ran out of fuel around 6500rpms.

And it is pretty dumb to put the bpv after the intercooler. When you let off throttle the air coming out of that thing will melt light plastic (ive done it) and even at idle it still blows some very warm air. Why would you want to pre-heat soak your intercooler down when off throttle so when you go to get on it again you have more heat in the system?:shakes head:

:iagree:

I've seen some pretty insane numbers just by guys switching to just a screen on their turbo dynos.

Adding that heat to an engine bay that already has heat issues doesn't sound good.

That's kind of bullsh*t taking the filter off for the sake of inflating numbers on a dyno. Especially when a given company is basically using that form marketing saying "hey look how good we are!".

I could care less about someone's glory run, if that's not the setup they actually run..

So was it this injector that was causing the tuning issue? Were they able to take it up to 7500? What did you make?

I need to have a chat tomorrow and see where we're at
He got as far as 475bhp and was detecting knock still and car was still pulling timming

So I'm going to get it back and make sure nothing is touching/vibrating
Swap out the leaky o rings and do some logging

I spoke with him about de sensitisation of the knock sensor He isn't keen but will tune the car using det cans and de sensitised knock sensor if I wish .
But wants the few niggles sorted first

Maybe it was a bad tank of fuel and the octane is just really low.

Possibly it had been sat for weeks with Very little fuel in it
I did however stick 50 litres of fresh she'll v power 99 Ron here in uk in when it went for mapping

I'll report back in a few days when I get chance to get the niggles sorted and run some fresh fuel threw her

He did say it was making more boost tho 10/11 psi
That's the confusing bit for me as you thought I'd see about 8 right ?

I do think my mapper is being super super cautious
I'll print up my dyno sheet tomorrow see what you guys think

Did he take the intercooler out of the manifold? If that is in there it will plug it up and make more backpressure/boost.
