Nice. There's no reason you should need a separate tune with it on. I definitely like it quieter, it attracted attention from blocks away. I was afraid it was going to attract the black and white attention. :driving:

Anyone flex fuel tuned can help? Trying to wire ethanol into my evap pressure on ecu. Pin 102/gray wire is what i read. Mechanic had a different color wire listed in his manual but when we looked at what we thought was #102 it was gray. Now getting codes p2127/2138 and the likes saying throttle position/switch is off so starting to doubt i did the right wire. Goes away when i reconnect the wire. Looked through service manual but havent had any luck
Edit: asked VQ group on facebook—it could be a blue wire, it could be a light green wire, could be gray, but sounds like my gray wire goes to 103
Update: on my g37 it was a blue wire with gold marks, right next to gray wire (103). “EVAP” pressure sensor read .53 at 9.8% ethanol, now just waiting to see what’s next

Soooo finally got my blown charger fixed, they said they wouldn't warrant it with building it with the standard internal lubricant system again, so I've now gotta run oil lines.

They sent me like some weird tapping tool and ****, but I'm like why not just get a oil sandwich plate? Would something like this be okay to use? Running lines from this to the supercharger > back??

Did they recommend what size AN hose to run to the charger? My turbo is running a 4 AN line (I believe). That sandwich plate is likely 6/8AN. That’s a lot of oil.

Hey TopgunZ how do I get a hold of those cool newer intercooler brackets you have?

Anyone can confirm that you can use procharger pulleys on our vortech belts / superchargers but not vice versa?

I was reading on the corvette forums and I came across these two posts.

They said that you can use procahrger pulleys on vortech since vortech is single, whereas procharger is double key.

But you cannot use vortech pulleys on a procharger.

Yeah or Nah?

Thanks guys!

I'm looking for a 2.8" supercharger pulley to use to put on my blower, that's why, and I can't find one other than procharger 2.8" 8 rib pulleys.

Brothers and Sistahs! I have been working on a air filter relocation for this air to air setup for a few months now and finally got it all 3d printed and worked out for my stillen front bumper. So my christmas present to yall....if you have a stillen front bumper you can have the 3d model of the air intake for free. What you need is =
1) this air to air kit
2) a stillen front bumper (I could probably 3d model one for the stock front bumper if someone wanted... just need a z with a stock front bumper and this A2A kit)
3) Buy a stock GT500 shelby mustang air filter from JLT performance
4) 3d print my free air intake model
5) hack away part of the radiator support (I have been driving like this for months with 0 issues... but you know... just a warning)

The thing works great! just got done with the test drive and feels really smooth and fast. It would be nice to see if I gained anything on a dyno

If you are interested send me a PM

Wow. This is crazy creative! I can see this picking up a some power for sure. Can you confirm how much? Im not sure how many guys are willing to hack away that much radiator shroud though.

What are the dimensions? Not sure my printer can handle it. And is it taped together in one spot?

Think a 2014 Nismo bumper can handle it?

made it in two pieces to allow easier/cheaper to 3d print. Used silicone tape to seal the two pieces together. Kind of like how we use silicone coupler hoses to join aluminum intake tubes. That self fusing silicone tape is great stuff

Fit what, the A2A kit or the intake?

nismofreak120 12-10-2018 08:09 PM

Fitting the A2A kit onto a HR motor with the stillen kit. I assume the charger mounting bracket from stillen would still be the same on both VHR and HR motors.

I think i found the source of my gas smell and rough start (triggering misfire code at startup). Clamp was snug but you can still see fuel bubble between the hose and regulator. Not sure if putting the clamp even closer will help the leak. Hope i can get this worked out and fixes it—before i was suspecting a crack in evap canister which woulda been more complicated than this

Did this end up working? I've got a bit of fuel smell as well trying to track it down will check this point first

It did... then the gas smell started coming back. One morning I was driving to work and car shut off. Fuel hose popped off ethanol sensor. Improper clamp (screw type not spring) for expansion/contraction with cold temps is what I blame. But then I had a leak at my fuel pressure gauge as well (kinda a scary one like one drip/second). So I bought a 3/8SAE female quick connect to 6an male for the ethanol sensor, PTFE line to 6an-3/8NPT at fuel gauge. Will use yellow teflon at fitting. That should fully do it, the return fuel line looks to be all PTFE lined

OK, what did you all do about the lack of clearance between the straight coolant hose nipple on the front throttle body & the 90* silicon (rear) Y tube connector?? Depending on how I wiggle the Y tube, I have about 1/4" to 3/8" (absolute max) clearance from the end of the nipple to the silicon connector. No way to get a hose on that.

TopgunZ 01-03-2019 07:56 AM

I havent heard of this issue. However, those tubes bend like butter and it would not hurt them to move them around.

Also, there is a lot of information out there on deleting the throttle body coolant all together. That is what I did.

Mine are gone too. I was going to mention that and then I saw he lived in PA. We don’t worry about freezing temps in Texas, so no reason to run the coolant thru the TBs.

cgr406 01-03-2019 09:08 AM

Thanks guys. I rarely, if ever, drive the car in freezing temps, so I think I'll go ahead & bypass them. No sense adding any unnecessary heat to the incoming air, anyway!

TopgunZ 01-03-2019 01:31 PM

Just make sure you take a look on how to do it or you will have coolant spraying out at a rapid pace.

Yup and it’s a pita to get a rubber fitting on the backside between the block and the firewall.

Edit - the rubber cap is difficult but the zip tie to hold it on is the real pita.

So I took a slightly different route. I simply used the existing hose (C) from the back of the engine & rotated it from the right side of the engine to the left side & connected it to the return nipple on the hard heater line (E). Alternatively, I was going to plug both nipples, but this has fewer points of potential failure. PLUS - I didn't have to mess w/ getting a clamp on that nipple between the block & the firewall!
