Both on the jack shaft are the same size stock, I'm not positive on the size but I know it's in the big thread about a2a.

Where did you get the pulley for the serpentine side?

My Turbo Supra buddy loaned me a book to read this weekend "Engine Management Advanced Tuning" Engine Management: Advanced Tuning: Greg Banish: 9781932494426: Amazon.com: Books

Great source of info about turbo and supercharging. No less than two places in there it states that air temperature must be measured post cooler as close to the intake manifold as possible. Way to go TopgunZ!

If you really want to understand the how and whys of boost, this is a must read! It is also well written and easy to understand the concepts presented.

My Serp pulley is a 2.90" also. I bought my kit used too. I have that coupled with the 3.0 SC pulley and 3.2" JS pulley. It makes 12psi with the SI trim.

So do u have a schedule? Do u take orders every 2 weeks, once a month? Trying to figure out timing so once funds are available I can place order.

I have basically just been going off who PM's me and says they want one and are ready with payment. Then I put them on the "for sure" list and get it to them as quickly as I can.

Right now I have 2 kits available that are not spoken for. If they both go before you are ready to grab one then it will be another 3 weeks before the next batch will be ready. The shop I am using to build the Y-pipes wants to do them in batches of 5 and they usually have about a 2 week lead time before they can start them after I tell them I would like them to be made. It then takes around a week to get them done, then they will ship.

Not read that one but I highly recommend Corky Bell's Maximum Boost too. It's for turbos but I think he made a SCer book too.

One of the other books loaned to me is "TURBO Real World High-Performance Turbocharger Systems", by Jay K. Miller. It is very technical and includes lots of design aspects of building your own system. I mostly read the parts covering the compressor side of turbos which basically what a SC system is, just at lower rpm. Turbo compressors turn over 100K while sc turns well under that and needs to be sized accordingly. This book also has some great info on aftercoolers (the correct term that we should be using).

I didn't, I only changed the supercharger pulley, I got that from Vortech.

What size did you use and what was the boost?

I broke the first supercharger with a 2.75 then changed to a 3.0 for the second one, it was around 10psi but not 100 percent positive. I have long tube headers on my car so it's going to be less than others will see with cats. I don't know that over spinning the supercharger caused the first one to go but I wasn't chancing it. At the track my car sees red line hundreds of times in a weekend so it takes a lot more beating than most street cars.

Thanks JWillis72. Mine, being a fair weather driver, will not see max boost too often.....but it will see it!

My Vortec pulleys came in today. I have a 3.4 and a 2.95 to play with. Between the stock 3.2 I might be able to find the 9-10 range.

go to the vortech calculator and figure out the numbers, I think the 2.95 with all the others stock should be about the max.
