Does anyone with the kit experience slight vibrations on initial start up?
|
The only vibration that i have heard of was from someone that had the volute touching the frame.
However, I had noticed that the tbolt clamp on the throttle body was rubbing on my hood and I was suprised i didnt hear any vibration from it. That is why I recommend using the worm drive clamps there since it is a tight fit. Check your hood in that area for any contact. |
i had one but it was from the buloga exhaust...it went away when i got this sweet *** deal on a slightly used fast intentions from TOPGUNZ!!!!!!:happydance:

Mine is all on now
Took a little longer as I have done a full install from stock as opposed to just swapping out water stuff Spoken to my tunner late tonight he's send me a tune tomorrow so should get her running then :) Can't wait now Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk |
Guys quick question... car threw a P0507 "Idle Air Control RPM Higher than expected." I am using the Turbosmart 25mm BOV and have it at the softest setting. Did some reading and got different points on adjustments. Should the BPV be slightly open at idle? If it isn't do I tighten it?

Also of interest is I have a 2012 model Z with a 2013+ front bumper (with the LED's) that I was able to get and have fitted after an accident I had where, through no fault of my own, I t-boned a Nissan Tida. :shakes head: |

Weird thing is this just started happening. When I first cranked the car my idle was where it should be.....high 700s low 800s (RPM). Thinking it may be the Throttle Chambers but I'm not getting any codes for that. |
Topgunz - air to air upgrade
Try the idle relearn procedure, not the one in Ecutek. Nissan has one, you can google to find it. I have to do it every couple of times I reflag the car.

You need a softer spring or cut that one down, it should be wide open at idle. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

If you are less than 11 lbs of boost you could try the PBV from the Stillen kit, I'm running it on my car and it stays open at idle without any messing with it.

Also if you are using Ecutek you can do the idle relearn and ecu reset in it with the push of one button, way easier than the Nissan way.

It's in the ECM tool. After you detect the vehicle it's one of the options near the bottom.

Seb showed me and said you should reset the the ECU after every flash before you do a log, he said it cleans up the logs.

Yes, you have to have a cable to do anything in Ecutek. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

You can do the resets without a cable but it's a pain in the butt.

Lol, I will clear it out tomorrow if I'm not in prison. My daughter being goofy was taking a picture of me pouring a drink and I grabbed her phone and she freaked. When I asked wtf was that about I was told my 15 year old has a boyfriend so I am on the edge of crazy as hell right now!!!! Pray for me and them!!!!

If it's not open at idle you have to fix that before you can do anything.
