Some BS happened at dyno day and they couldnt get me in. I have an appt this Wed at 830 to get it done. I just stopped by to demand it and they said I will be the first customer.

I'd guess mid-to-high 5's off of ID1K's & E85; I think the only car in the videos that would of gave you trouble is the TT stang if they could hook up to save their lives lol

Need help from others that have successfully installed this kit. I having a hell of a time getting the intake tube to fit. I get the throttle bodies hooked up then the other end won't match to the intercooler. Been fighting it for two nights. Arrgh
Any hints or super hero technique you want to share.
This the last thing I have to do to finish!

StillenZ84 10-05-2016 12:42 PM

Well guys I hit 535/412 on some belt slip only hitting 10.5 psi. Ima have to figure out how to secure the front belt a little more. I have the tension pulley and larger belt in the front but I still think it is a little loose. Anyway happy with the numbers for what it is for sure. Shows what the kit is capable of.

TopgunZ 10-05-2016 12:54 PM

Boom!! The only other supercharged 370z in the world that hit more power than you (by 15hp more) needed 2 superchargers to do it, but...you have more torque than that dual setup.

Congrats! I'd say that's a win for sure.

2016 10-05-2016 01:07 PM

hell yeah!!! can't wait to get my kit!!!

JWillis72 10-05-2016 03:44 PM

Awesome numbers StillenZ84.....Are u also running an upgraded impeller or just the 9lb pulley? That E85 Though.....Daaaam....Happy for u and Congrats to Topz...thank u so much for making this kit a reality and available to the rest of us.....

Nice man!

Was wondering if you are running the SC support arm also? The Stillen bracket has been bent a few times.

Yes I have the si impeller, 9lb pulley and 2.95" supercharger pulley. E85 def does wonders. Haha appreciate it and def all credit goes to Topz. I did have a guy with a q50 with the Stillen kit still water cooled, claim he made 12 psi with just the 9lb pulley and made 575 on the dyno. All power to him but seems like a ticking time bomb. Huge numbers for water cooled and only a 9lb pulley.

No I am not. Just have the 3" idler pulley on the supercharger side. Mine so far is holding strong and hasn't bent.

That's Eric. He's been pretty lucky with his build. His high boost numbers are due to him using a turbo guard instead of a filter. Still crazy how he's pushing those numbers with just the 9psi pulley though.

Yeah I thought about doing the same thing but seems a tiny bit sketchy for me because I have a vent in my bumper that goes directly to the filter on the supercharger. I talked to him and seems like a cool dude. He was saying he can't do the air to air because certain accessories are in the way for the piping.

milkcow500 10-08-2016 02:18 PM

The q50 has an even tighter bay than my g due to all the electronics and the DAS I believe. I just saw someone do a custom rotrex setup on their q50, but the piping looks insane.

I think the q guy also only runs a screen when he is doing dyno pulls or goes to the drag strip.

Evan, take your filter off and you will be into the 600's easily.

Yeah, he only runs the filter off on the dyno and on the strip. I'll see if seb wants to try it out when we re-run mine on the dyno.

I didn't know removing the air filter would make power like that!

TopgunZ 10-08-2016 07:12 PM

Yeah, it's a restriction. But, it's probably not worth your engine ingesting dust and debris.

wideglideleon 10-10-2016 10:21 AM

I am very happy to say I am now the proud owner of a FI
370z. STILLEN SC with TopgunZ's A2A upgrade. Completed the install yesterday and will be data logging for Seb to properly tune it.
Yeah!

Anyone think about doing what Stillenz84 upgraded with throttle bodies to 65mm/70mm?

Sweet....I have the 9lb pulley already.....where can u order the 2.95" supercharger pulley? Isnit worth upgrading the Supercharger pulley without or before the impeller upgrade or would u recommend doing it together? Also is there any boost increase by going with the 2.95" supercharger pulley alone?

StillenZ84 10-13-2016 12:30 AM

Just getting a chance to get on here today but went back after putting a little bigger tensioner pulley on to help prevent slip and made 556/413 on 11.4 psi! Super stoked. Still slipping a little bit so I'm going to go back to the drawing board and find another tensioner pulley I can swap out for a bigger one as the one I already switched out is as big as it can go for that area. Want higher numbers! Lol This is all still with the k&n filter on. Might take it off for this next pull to see the difference it makes.

Yeah you can gain a good 1.5 psi from switching out that supercharger pulley. You can get it directly from vortech for like $93. Part number 2A038-295. I think it's a 3.12" pulley on there stock.

Damn! New supercharger record! Good job Evan!

Be careful taking the filter off. Bad things could and most likely would happen if you pull it off and go crazy on the dyno. She is going to BREATH!! I already did this and if i could have controlled belt slip like you are attempting i would have seen 14.5psi and over 600whp. You will definitely need to compensate fuel for this, even for just one glory pull, or you can jeopardize your motor from an extreme lean condition.

But a year ago who would have thought the stillen kit could make over 550whp!!?? :happydance:

TopgunZ 10-13-2016 12:10 PM

Evan. Have you tried spraying a little CRC on there yet?

Yeah very good point. Don't know I want to push it anymore on a stock block. Haha

And yeah I sprayed some CRC on there. Stuff is sticky and seemed to help.

I dont think its the block holding the power that is the concern. It is torque that matters and we know superchargers are not known to be tq kings like turbos are. There are guys making 500+tq on the stock block all day and it seems to be holding fine. I cant see the sc making much more than 450.

What is the concern is the amount of air you will see vs fuel you have programmed in. If you have a guy that can sit there and add fuel when you jump up in psi, basically tuning it, then it would be ok. But I wouldnt pull the filter off and say you want to do a few pulls on the dyno. Even though i would LOVE to see the power outcome, it could be really bad on the engine.

Maybe sebs could make you a theoretical map for this though.

Went to the track last night and pulled off multiple 11.6 @124 runs. Need to work on my 60' big time as it was 1.9 all night. Would either bog or spin. Not bad for first time in a year. With that mph I should be low 11's easy.

Guys runing 1000cc injectors what sort of duty are you getting % wise with the air to air ?

Not sure. Seb said my duty cycle isn't accurate due to using e85.

I'm on 19x11 forgestars with Mickey Thompson ET Street tires. My TC is on 0 and I'm trying to figure out how to use Sebz "launch hack" If I don't stall it up to a certain throttle position it bogs down when you press the brake and gas at the same time. I need to get it figured out.
