My Stillen SC kit arrived on Tuesday. I'm on the waiting list for TopgunZ's kit. I might just pee in my pants from the excitement!

See I dont get how cars/tuners differ so much. You apparently have enough fuel to even have it a little on the RICH side and im on the lean side and we have identical fuel setups. :ugh2:

Seb is traditionally conservative when he it comes to remote tuning F.I. motors......he's more focused on getting a clean and reliable tune on the cars he tunes which is why he tends to be a little on the rich side....not too rich but rich enough to avoid problems.

It's got to be all in timing. Some tuners are more aggressive than others.

I should be ready for tuning by tomorrow. Apparently some fabrication is necessary in order to fit the piping on the throttle body side after the y-pipe (For the G37). I'm waiting for pics from the shop to see how they had to route the piping.

****... that's what I was worried about. Please keep me informed of what all needs to be done. This may actually require me to find a different shop to install everything.

looking good man, duck tape FTW, LOL

TopgunZ 05-06-2016 12:19 PM

Interested to see this too. I highly doubt they have to cut that Y-pipe and its a single piece all the way from throttle bodies to intercooler with just one coupler in-between. Make sure you get good pics of the coupler off the intercooler to the Y as that will be covered up once the bumper is back on but the rest you can take pictures of later yourself.

False alarm on the G37 install. I got some pictures and the shop had the brackets on upside down and flip flopped!!!! That is why it didn't fit up.

Topz were u able to get Vids and logs of ur AIT'S with some spirited driving yet?

TopgunZ 05-11-2016 08:56 AM

No. I suck. I promise to make a video of this by the weekend.

milkcow500 05-11-2016 10:19 AM

Mine should be on the dyno tomorrow, so I'll try and get some videos up.

StillenZ84 05-11-2016 12:28 PM

Weather here has put a huge damper on finishing my tune. There have been tornados and thunderstorms non-stop and not suppose to stop for the next 7 days. Was planning on going to the dyno this weekend but we will see if it happens or not.
