Remove bumper. Remove intake Y pipe and boot to SC. Loosen the serpentine belt using a 3/8" drive on the auto tensioner. Remove the 8 or so bolts holding the supercharger bracket on to the face of the engine. Pull entire assembly out.

PM me your email and I can send the stillen install manual so you can take a look how it goes on, just reverse it.

Are there any good indicators of belt slip aside from rubber shavings around blower? I have minimal shavings, i don’t see any slip on datalogs through 7300rpm it makes or at least holds boost at 1.3bars but i’m still peaking at 4.5psi. I’m using soapy spray around supercharger and coupler for leaks, and then pressurized smoke test from front of intercooler.
That said, still managed to make a STI sell his car, and i was pretty happy with how well i hung with an R6 and very modded GTR all things considered and i’m not even on e85 tuning yet

Your only making 4.5psi? Have you taken it to the dyno? What is your whp?

According to the rep I talked to at Vortech, if you see any belt dust, you have belt slippage.

I haven’t, still etuning with Seb. Belt dust is likely from when I first put it on I wouldn’t be surprised if i cleaned it off i wouldnt see any more. Must be a leak somewhere. Confusing as before I had a new blower shaft put in i was peaking at 5.8psi and that was with belt/pulley walking and slipping it’s way to death.
I guess if i just put marks on the belt and pulley i would in theory know for sure if it was slipping

Quick question what is the ID of the blue couplers around the intercooler? 2.5”? 3”?
Played around with boost today, couldn’t find an obvious leak. Put an analog pressure gauge on the evap line and it read just above 6psi at about 6k rpms. So thinking that will be about 7psi at redline. I have the stock 8lb pulley (i believe).. and the billet top end impeller. I live at 5,500’ elevation so perhaps 7psi out of my calculated expectation of about 9psi could be within margin of error for altitude? Still want my own leak down coupler to be sure. What are your boost numbers with what pulley?

I never ran mine with the stock 8lb pulley but with the 9lb pulley my car made a little over 10psi.Also, that was with the Si trim sc.

The only blue coupler you should have is the one off the supercharger. The in/out of the intercooler is 2.5".

Somebody please tell me if there is another thread for this or if someone knows. I’m installing my A2A kit and just re-installed the plenum and throttle bodies. The coolant hoses for the bodies, does the short hose go between the two 90° metal tubes coming off of them? Thanks

Can you see or do you need better angle?

Thank G3RSTY7 but I think I need a different angle. Are the two 90° connections connected with the small short hose between the two bodies. I have a pic of mine but don Know how to load it up

welp i can say, dont buy the low to mid range impeller.
Hits 9 psi at like 5800 rpm, then it starts sliding off. at first we thought belt slip, but not slipping at all.

only hit 427 whp and 368 ftlbs.

I think this impeller would be suited better on a mustang etc.. after about 6000 rpm, the boost starts tapering off. it feels way faster then before, but i think thats cause its boosting sooner.

Crap where'd you get this impeller from? I have a low mid range impeller from SCR that I haven't put in yet.
