The top graph looks like classic belt slip to me. The bottom one looks like a tuning issue.

Did you do any changes to the exhaust such as removing the stock cats and going to test pipes?

Which MAP sensor are you using? The stock sensor was not designed to read pressure so it could be off. I'm using the Nissan GTR sensor that SpecialtyZ sells along with there remote tune package. My AEM boost gauge and the GTR sensor agree with each other.

When I was looking for a boost leak I made a leak tester and pressurized the system up to 8psi and both of the sensors read the same (engine not running) during the test. The leak showed up around 3psi if I remember correctly. If you have an aircompressor and a good pressure regulator I'll be glad to loan you my tester that I made.

Top, do you have any words of wisdom that you can share?

I have the Omni 4bar sensor from Specialty Z. I have an air compressor, I do have to see if I have a pressure regulator or a friend of mine has one. But both sensors reading different numbers makes no sense regardless of boost leak or not.

Yeah talking to my tuner now. He also thinks it might be Uprev's ROM updates! But not sure yet.

No changes to exhaust system. Just the anti- slip pulley kits and a re-tune to clean up the top end. Was hoping to pick up 9psi and little more top end power.

I agree. They should be close at least.

Well supercharger fans we have some good news on the boost front.

I will be offering a full, standalone supercharger system that will easily put down the most power dollar for dollar than any other supercharger kit on the market. More details to come.

I can say that it will be a V3 headunit that comes with the Si upgrade out of the box.

That's awesome
Is it based on the system we have or have you changed things

Similar. But, no need to buy the stillen kit + the a2a kit. Plus it will already come with the upgraded supercharger and will cost hundreds less than anything available and Thousands less than other kits. It will keep safe stock motor limits yet reach the potential this motor is known to handle. Win win.

Think under $6k for tuner kit with turn key options! No hood to buy, chop, paint.

This is great news for "Z" owners since their won't be another anytime soon. Who knows, I might decide to do this late next year.

You already have sweet supporting mods. Half way there. :happydance:

Don't want to pollute this thread (so start a new one soon) :). But, will your kit make use of the stock TB location? Im already shopping for stuff I'll need. :)

TopgunZ 10-16-2017 08:17 AM

I will start a new thread soon once I have some pictures of the product layout and confirmed price points.

FYI all. The A2A upgrades to those who already have the stillen kit will still be offered.

overtureZ 10-16-2017 08:37 AM

Dang, I wish I would have waited for this instead of getting my stillen kit :shakes head:
