I call it STUPID FAST!......he agrees

That qualifies as stupid fast. Mine car was tuned with 95deg shop temps at 510whp. When it's below 50 I bet it's closer to 530-540. A good third gear pull in cooler weather is a little scary. STUPID FAST is right.

I just put my Brand New R888's up for sale. They are 315/30/20's. Tires can make the difference in "I put a ****-load of money into a car that doesn't seem fast because it just sits and spins"...or "this car plants you in your seat from 2nd up"

My Mickey Thompson Street Comps are 305/35/20's and they look MASSIVE on there and hook really good for the price.

And who wants a barely used Stillen oil cooler for cheap?

I have so much extra stuff laying around my garage its absurd.

TopgunZ 05-18-2016 10:03 AM

T-batt. Do you want a kit shipped to you next week?

Works for me if you have one ready! I got the $$ set aside for this.

YzGyz 05-18-2016 04:37 PM

I can hook in 3rd with the s04. My rear camber is at -.05* though.

Got a few logs in today. Should be finishing up by this weekend. Noticed my BOV was a little louder on the way home and was like great what did I do. Well got home and found my breather with the top blown off that helped quite down the Tial. This setup is pushing some major air if you ask me. haha

BOLIO 671 05-19-2016 05:35 AM

Topz when is your next set of kits gonna be available?

ANMVQ 05-19-2016 09:15 AM

Never seen that before :/ LOL

TopgunZ 05-19-2016 03:48 PM

I will have 7 kits ready by next week. 5 of which are spoken for.

I was looking through my logs in Excel, since I was bored and curious. Looks like ignition correction is consistently 0 in all my logs.

I just did a couple more WOT runs and my AFR looks like it's sitting mostly in the 11s, which is for the most part good. I'm kind of overwhelmed by the WOT procedure, but I'm getting the hang of it. It doesn't help when my hood is erratically shaking at redline like it wants to pop off. :eekdance:

Do you have an aftermarket wideband gauge? Cause the stock Narrow band sensors only read to 11.12. You wouldn't know if you were more rich than that without wideband.

milkcow500 05-20-2016 02:20 PM

Lowest it goes to is 11.15. I do have an aftermarket innovate gauge, but I'm having a really weird issue with it (It was calibrated when installed and is located after my driver side primary). It looks like the AFR readings are really off, but if I switch it to Lambda, the readings seem 'more' correct. For example - 3rd gear, 6k rpms = .76 Lambda OR 6.8 AFR.

Yeah ignition correction is good when it stays 0 the whole time. If there was any knock being detected it would read -1, -2, -3 and so on. 0 is good. The stock 02 sensors read quite a bit higher compared to a wide-band. If it is reading 11's on the logs then it is realistically close to 10's which is really rich. Better rich than lean but he will definitely get you dialed in.

milkcow500 05-20-2016 02:45 PM

Yeah, I need to get this gauge fixed up regardless. Here are my WOT runs for those interested. https://youtu.be/wkJRjl9W52g

Is it the factory hood? My carbon hot wheels hood shakes and flexes like crazy on the straights but I've learned to ignore it. It does freak out any passengers above about 120.

Did you dyno this weekend?

BOLIO 671 05-23-2016 04:04 AM

Hey Evohunter.... Are u on TopGunZ kit or the tabricated prototype from Boosted Performance? So far u seem to be the only person I know that's on the standard Stillen kit Pump and Injectors....Feeling things out to see how ur travels go as I have no need to upgrade my fuel system due to having limited rated octane of 91 @ the pump with no likely future of Ethanol or E85 fuels....

TopgunZ 05-23-2016 09:49 AM

He is on the BP fab kit. I don't know if the stillen provided fuel delivery will be enough for safe AFR's at 7500 pushing 11psi.

BOLIO 671 05-23-2016 10:26 AM

Topz what would u recommend for a minimum fuel upgrade for the A2A kit? I mean there are so many options for u guys Stateside...especially with higher Octane and Ethanol Fuels.....but what about someone in my shoes ...with 91 fuel octane with only a 9lb pulley as an upgrade.....I would use Cali as an example but I don't think the A2A upgrade will meet CARB very would it?

TopgunZ 05-23-2016 11:02 AM

Honestly, I would wait and see what Evohunter makes on his setup and draw a conclusion from that. Isn't he supposed to dyno this week?

milkcow500 05-23-2016 12:39 PM

Ran into an issue during my WOT runs and I'm stuck right now. I'm leaning out around 6500+ rpms with my afr at around 12-12.5. I hit the 10s sometimes, but mostly stay in the 11s.

I noticed that the psi on the fuel gauge isn't consistent. When I start the car up and idle for a bit, I sit at around 50psi. After driving around for 30+ mins, it will go down to 44-48psi. Sebastian told me to disconnect my vac line for testing, so I'm going to try that today. Any ideas? I'm a total noob when it comes to fueling.

My issue is the complete opposite. Seb and I can't figure out why the car is running so rich. Every wot run is reading 10 on wideband. He has leaned it out 4 times now with no change. I have another flash to try after work.

By any chance, could you check your fuel gauge for me and let me know what PSI you are running? Can you also check and see if the PSI changes at all? I assumed it would be consistent to whatever you have it set at.

I will check when I try the new flash after work. I know it was initially 52 psi idling with boost reference vacuum line off.

With vac line on it will be lower. Somewhere around 46.

milkcow500 05-23-2016 01:39 PM

I removed the vac line and mine is fluttering between 50-52psi right now.

TBatt 05-23-2016 02:12 PM

TopgunZ

Do you think you will be ready to ship me a kit this week?

StillenZ84 05-23-2016 04:36 PM

Seb and I are definitely making progress on mine. Could be down to my last few WOT pulls. AFR for me is high 11's. 11 psi is the max that I have seen. Can only get through half of 4th on the streets around here before I have to shut it down. I dont know if I will see any higher than 11 top of 4th or not. My fuel pressure with the vac hose not attached is 52 and with it attached is 44. Out messing around this past weekend I was able to shoot 3 foot flames so that was pretty cool. haha

With boost reference connected it was at 50 psi at idle and 48 psi at idle after the WOT run. The run was better but still pegged at 10 on wideband at 4400 rpms.

Ok so Stillen had told me my car was doing 420 to the back wheels
Well this is the dyno pull from Specialty-Z
Man I always felt my car was such a dog and had no pull for having a SC , I guess my butt dyno was right

Wow is right. Those are bolt on numbers.

Pauly Z 05-24-2016 08:55 AM

You using their can tune? That seems common to see for Stillen's tune.

I was but getting it all changed to ECUTEK and air setup a Specialty-Z

ANMVQ 05-24-2016 09:45 AM

how long you been on that tune? Was that a "Stillen" updated tune :/ , WOW man is right

milkcow500 05-24-2016 09:51 AM

Geez, those numbers are horrid. At least you'll have some good satisfaction after swapping over.

Update: I'm pretty much stuck now with the road tuning. Sebastian said we need to run the car on the dyno to check the fuel pressure during WOT runs. I told him I may try to stick a gopro in there to check it. Charles also informed me that he just finished developing the new S1 kit, so I might just baby the car and wait until he can send that out to me.

Yes it was the update tune
I got tired of sending my car back to Stillen, diffrent/random codes , bad customer service and poor craftsmanship

Sh!T they still have all my stock stuff from the install and I get promised I'll get it and never do

TopgunZ 05-24-2016 10:50 AM

Yup, bolt on numbers. Where the hell are those 8.5psi going?!! Not to the wheels..lol.

So your going A2A? Custom kit? I haven't heard you were interested in one from me so i am assuming so.
