Well, I can lock up the V3 Stillen kit with upgraded impeller, trans cooler, and csf radiator for under $5k. Add the A2A kit, and I can be in the hp range I'm shooting for.

I had a great deal on a brand new Precision ball bearing 6766, which is why I was thinking that route. Still waiting to hear if a local builder can fab up something to work with my auto.

Yeah no probs, if you can get it for $5k thats sweet, but don't go using the upgraded impeller until you go A2A lol, bangggggggggggg

Pauly Z 03-03-2016 06:06 AM

Yeah I'm just going with stock impeller and pulley first.

I didn't plan to have anything installed until I had all the pieces, including A2A.

Thats a good price for the Stillen kit. Just keep in mind that the kit has been on the market for years now and even to this day owners have had a really hard time touching that 500whp mark which i think only 1 person has but could be wrong. Don't want to be a downer just a heads up to keep an open mind.

I implore you and others to keep my goals grounded. I'm a realist. How many people have had the A2A kit, as well as Aquamist, to attempt the 500 number? It may have been tried unsuccessfully, but I haven't seen it yet. Now, I doubt my butt dyno will know the difference between 500 and 480whp, but everyone knows we only race with dyno sheets.

JWillis72 03-03-2016 05:35 PM

I had aquamist on my car and it sucked! It always had some thing not working, I don't think it will be needed with a2a but if you are going to run meth I would get a simpler system.

Sounds good. That was just one recommended to me, but probably didn't have the experience with it that you did.

JWillis72 03-03-2016 05:57 PM

My buddy installed a snow system at the same time, his just works mine always had problems. It's great because it's so complex but it's also it problem. After sending mine overseas to be fixed twice I decided it wasn't going back in the car. I only said it so you don't have the headaches I did.

I had the Devils Own meth injection system installed before I went e85 and had 0 problems with it. Have heard good things about the Snow kit as well. There are definitely a few different options if you want to go the meth route.

Chuck33079 03-03-2016 06:24 PM

+1 on getting the simplest meth system possible. All you need is one that increases flow as boost increases.

When I ran meth on my last car, my tuner made it a point to have me always run a 50:50 mix of meth to water. The power difference was negligible, and mixed with water it would no longer ignite if there was a leak somewhere.

JWillis72 03-03-2016 06:26 PM

I also ran 50-50 for that reason. I ran boost juice because it was easy to transport.

The A2A kit will dominate in reducing temps over meth. Especially since it will never run out. Since it's much more simplified there is Nothing to monitor and no trips to the meth store.

Good news! I have redesigned the anti-flex brace and can offer them for a much more affordable price. I got the idea while I was looking for sled parts in our salvage yard. I love working for Arctic Cat.

BOLIO 671 03-03-2016 10:22 PM

Tops....were you able to get those vids of your car running the A2A set up for AIT's?

I was going to use a tie rod off a sled too! im assuming that's what your going to use?

TBatt 03-04-2016 09:08 AM

Do you have a planned release date for the kit? I'm doing my SC install in June.

That and a way to simplify the brackets so they aren't So complex and expensive to mfg.

Wow, looks great! Love how minimal the piping ended up being.

Pauly Z 03-20-2016 03:08 PM

Is that 2.5 or 3" piping?

TBatt 03-22-2016 09:55 AM

This is soooo tempting!

I'm waiting on test results and final price. Are you using the stock MAFs?

This is all 2.75 post ic. That plus the tall MAF standoffs it should be good for 600whp. V2 Ti trim anyone?

I have dyno scheduled for April 6th. . That is the earliest I could get in. I have been at our other Arctic Cat plant all weekdays for the past 4 weeks and still have next week and half to go. That has been stalling the project.

If anyone wants to send some cash and dyno this thing before hand, its all yours

Anyone want to pilot the first production and get this to the forum quicker?

StillenZ84 03-22-2016 01:52 PM

I just emailed Seb to see his thoughts on it. Since I am in the middle of my flex fuel tune still with him I dont want it have to start over but if he says we can make it work with my current tune without to much adjustments, Id be down.

TopgunZ 03-22-2016 04:29 PM

Ok. Let me know what he says.

EVOHUNTER 03-22-2016 04:44 PM

Looks really good topz, good work man!

Pauly Z 03-26-2016 08:48 PM
