Vortech told me it's the design and the way it oils, they said that only works on units with oil lines.

I did notice people that had blowers that share oil pretty much had nonexistent issues with overspinning. There's quite a few with the V3 overspinning ~10% with no problems though.

He should be ok.....he's also getting all new bearings to support up to 72k rpm.

I'm not saying to wasn't the shops fault but the person I spoke to at vortech said that it doesn't work with the V3, I did the bearings also. I hope it works but I wouldn't trust it.

what to do what to do??????

i have a upgraded impellar (bought kit used so don't know what was done to supercharger) and air2air and 660 injectors on 93 octane. i have the 9psi pulley sitting on the shelf and according to topgunz i need to go ahead and install. Sebastian said to install and start to tune. I JUST DON'T WANT TO START TEARING UP ****!!!!

BOLIO 671 02-21-2017 11:16 AM

What exactly do u need to Install? The end tire kit...the Air 2 Air...or the 9lb pulley? If ur gonna tune u need to Install it all....each upgrade requires a retune..this will save u time, money amd headaches. If it's only the 9lb pulley that's an easy install. You don't have to tear anything apart....espcially if ur on the Air 2 Air upgrade.... as all u need to do is loosen up ur belt enough to swap out the pulleys. Should take u less than 15 mins

Just the 9pd pulley i have the 928 upgrade. Just keep hearing people say dont do upgrade and 9pd pulley. Do one or other. Then i see people doing it.

Don't take my word for it necessarily, but the people running both are likely on air to air setups already.

Or on borrowed time?

I have both but aren't running the 9# pulley until down the road. Most likely anyways

So I recall seeing some of the users on this kit making 500+ WHP with upgrades on E85....Does anyone have any numbers of what they're putting down on 91 pump gas? If not..... any estimations of where the numbers should fall?

I I will be hitting the dyno on the 11th I'll post my results. I have the air 2 air with upgraded impeller and on 91.
It's a Mustang dyno but will give us an idea what it can do.

It's a Mustang dyno but will give us an idea what it can do if you add 10% to the numbers it spits out..

Fix'd :icon17:

I do realize that the Mustang dyno's real lower than others. That's why they are called heart breaker and why I mentioned that it will be one.
