First failure I had was from pieces in the system with my engine pop. Replacing it was easy. This last time a wire got snagged during the built block process.

Which is basically what I said. The thing with the pump is that it's one more thing to go wrong , and that wrong could come from any number of things unrelated to the pump itself. I'm not making stuff up I've lived it. With that said if it were that much of a big deal I wouldn't still be running the exapump. Going with a Procomp wasn't on my radar until Sasha himself mentioned it to me. It simply prompted the thought of the simplicity of the setup. But I will say that if I get a wild hair the exapump is a gonner.
