Injector Dynamics are the way to go but I wouldn't rebuy if you already have a quality brand.

My list to go E85 is the same as Topguns listed.

My F.I. Tow bar showed up today.

Is that a top in top out IC? I cant tell where its inlet is.

I see your at sea level or near it anyway. Cant wait to see what you make.

What will be your pulley setup again? Make it the same as mine so we can see how much altitude affects it...lol..

I was spinning my tires all the way through 2nd today and wasn't even on it hard. Stupid cold weather..... My tires are **** at anything under 70*.

I really need to make a video of how good my IC cools the charge. Its almost hard to believe. I didn't want to say anything till I could prove it but it literally only raises 5* on a 2nd gear pull to redline. Ive been wanting to make a video but the problem is I use my phone for displaying my intake temps so I cant use it to make video.

JWillis72 10-06-2015 05:01 PM

It's the same cooler you used ( bottom in top out)but they are cutting the undertray to set it a little lower. I am at sea level basically but my car will not be E85, I would love to but Sebring is my favorite track and I would have to drive for an hour every time I need fuel. I have the Stillen 9 lb and 2.75 on the supercharger.

Damn! Your going to hit around 15psi! That will demolish the 500hp goal. Hope you don't get slip or flex. If so we will work around it.

Make sure to log your boost when on the dyno so we can see if it does.

That ic is amazing. Treadstone for the win. The bp kits use these and now I see why. Badass quality.

Fyi. I am advanced 22* with e.

JWillis72 10-06-2015 06:33 PM

I'm also doing PPE long tube headers so it might drop some. When the tubes are done they are build a brace like yours so hopefully that will do it.

Your going to put down some serious power. What compression did you go with again?

You should throw all your mods in your sig.

Stillen Air to Air setup

It's a stock block! I'm prepared to have one built if I blow it up.

JWillis72 10-06-2015 06:48 PM

I was going to start lower psi but I'm spending $4k to have level 10 build the trans to take 800whp so why hold back.

TopgunZ 10-06-2015 07:10 PM

Well. You might hold the stock block boost record..lol.

The sc won't make as much torque as turbos and that's what really eats rods. You'll probably be ok. But for how long I can't say. I know you track it.

JWillis72 10-06-2015 07:29 PM

I don't think it will be a record but I'm hoping to make good numbers. If I blow it we will swing for the fences.

TopgunZ 10-06-2015 07:53 PM

I'm not talking power. Just boost. Yes phunk is making like 680whp on a stock block, but he is only on 12psi.

There is only one way to find out!

jwick 10-06-2015 09:05 PM

When do expect them to be finished and you on the dyno?

JWillis72 10-07-2015 06:04 AM

At this point the question is what year! I have no clue but I hope it's in November.

The beauty of performance shop speed. They build fast things, just not fast. :rofl2:

TopgunZ 10-07-2015 08:23 AM

Yup, I was quoted 3 weeks on my engine build. Took them over 4 months. The ENTIRE summer.

And it sure isn't local or just one shop. They are ALL that way. Probably why I only farm out the jobs I'm not capable of handling myself, like tuning and welding.

Who built it? IPP quoted me 5-6 weeks but I don't want it to turn into something like that.

its the custom stuff that takes forever, we have a 1949 international truck here, ford frame, perkins motor. the previous shop made the motor mounts out of pieces of tires, cut in squares and stacked up! hahahah. They used HEATER hose for the diesel lines!! I **** you not. this jobs been a nightmare.

A local shop did. I told them I was going to go with IPP and it was a 6 week lead time and they said they would do it in half that. I took the bait. Then was gill gutted. Plus I had to source all my own parts. Getting the bearings was a nightmare. I don't even want to go into that whole story.

GO WITH IPP!!!

If I ever do this again it would def. be a shop that does just that for a living. Plus they have been doing it for over 20 years. They know their VQ engines.

IPP built my motor ... Kyle Puckett is most knowledgeable and very pleasant to work with...a very good communicator.
He's the former world record holder in the 1/4 mile with his 300zx
1993 Nissan 300ZX Turbo - VG30DETT Engine - Turbo & High-Tech Performance Magazine
Still waiting to finish up the build [waiting mostly on the brakes and twin fuel pumps] >>> and then on to Dyno Day !!!

So that's were you been hiding LOL.

Agree Kyle is "good" people I've spoken to him a few times and the transaction I had was seemless. I have a plan in a year or two for my car but we'll see.

Him, Built 4.2 NA motor, something like that :)

Do you have the hot side piping ran yet?

JWillis72 10-08-2015 04:38 PM

No, the supercharger just got back from 928 Motorsports this afternoon so they haven't done that side. I dropped the MAF housings off today. They were thinking they were going do the hot side at the top of the cooler to make the hot pipe short but that's not a sure thing yet.

TopgunZ 10-08-2015 10:49 PM

How will they run the intake then? Not sure that will work.

JWillis72 10-09-2015 06:28 AM

Like the Stillen kit did but with a single 3" pipe instead of the y pipe. On my car I have a trans cooler right in front of my drivers side front wheel that we are trying to keep hot pipes away from.

JWillis72 10-09-2015 03:51 PM

Top, is your brace mounted to the supercharger using the 4 hole behind the pulley? Also I stopped by the shop and they are mounting my cooler with the in low and out high, other way wasn't working.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

TopgunZ 10-10-2015 12:35 AM

That's what I was saying. No way will it go in on top.

4 hole? Need more info.

Mines mounted off the mani with 3 bolts and the sc has 1.

EVOHUNTER 10-10-2015 08:25 AM

its goes from the manifold to the blower, there a few bolt holes behind your charger pulley, mount it up there.

JWillis72 10-14-2015 11:51 AM

The pipes are done! http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/10...c286e7eff8.jpg
