I was not able to get an FI kit - I even offered to get the 370z kit and have my install shop fab whatever was needed, but couldn't convince Tony. I totally understand why I was denied since FI wants the utmost quality/fitment in the products they ship and I can't fault them for not wanting to sell me a product that may or may not fit. In the end I am excited to see what the AAM kit can really do for me in the future.

If you have a 370z I'm sure you wouldn't experience some of the pains that I did, although I'm sure every build has it's setbacks along the way. But like others have said you need to weigh all factors in from design/features of the kit, performance of the kit, and post service/support.

I'm a G37 owner which my avatar clearly says, but the point is I understand your dilemma. GTM was the only kit offered at the time, even before AAM.

Know someone with a 08 G37 custom made TT with piping and HKS turbos(before GTM). The kit still holds, but what happens if he starts having issues?

At least I can hope for GTM to be back in business and produce TT parts again. Ex: manifolds, turbo housings, wastegates ect....

Edit: I just realized you are giving example of what your friend will do if he has issues with his kit. I think you are more stressing the value of post customer support. Sorry I mistook your original intent.

FI and never look back. I have the first kit that was not assembled by FI. Technically it was the third kit that was installed. I have 16k miles on the kit and not one issue. I am making 556whp and 552tq on 100 octane. The service from Tony and Sebastian is top shelf. Let's put it this way, Tony is not just the guy that built my turbo, he is family. If he wasn't, there is no way I would be going to ZDayZ!

You should go visit his shop and Specialty Z as well. If you do, it's all over except for signing the check!

He's probably spent enough time on myG37.com that he knows most of the people there are cheap and wouldn't really appreciate that most often you have to pay for quality.

I love all the turbo noises that come out of my kit from the spool, to turbo whistle, BOV and compressor unloading, all music to my ears

I just realized how much closer they are than AAM!! Thanks for the tip on visiting. We go to Cali all the time.. ALSO! Noticed your in Az too, let me know next time you go to Zdays. Two FI Nismos going on a road trip could be life changing
