Bump, I just encountered this issue for the first time myself. Had an oil cooler installed recently while in the fall it was performing perfectly 180*F, yesterday (32*F outside) it would barely read over 160*F if I was lucky at 65mph.
I was thinking of the plate but duct tape or something similar seems so much more logical. |
