oil cooler block off plate for Nismo

Anyone put one of these on their coolers for colder months with a nismo? The damper bar cuts it close to the cooler as it is, anyone fit a block off plate in between that with no issues?

I use duct tape.

i put 2 washers behind the damper mount which pushes the damper a good centimeter out past the oil cooler. lets me mount a block off plate just perfectly.

Bump, I just encountered this issue for the first time myself. Had an oil cooler installed recently while in the fall it was performing perfectly 180*F, yesterday (32*F outside) it would barely read over 160*F if I was lucky at 65mph.

I was thinking of the plate but duct tape or something similar seems so much more logical.

Yeah if you're struggling to get above 160, its too cold out and the block off plate needs to go on.. and for the little bit that Ive had my oil cooler, 50 degrees is my minimum, anything colder than that, the plate goes on.

Just buy a roll of aluminum sheet, cut two pieces to size, one piece for below the damper, the other for above the damper. Industrial strength Velcro to stick them on. Don't even need to take front bumper off. You are welcome.

Duct tape is the easiest however.
