Accidentally figured out a super-easy way to do these:

On my first attempt, I measured and then cut them a little oversized. When I put the first one on, I didn't like the way (a) you could see the edges of the Di-Noc and (b) that you could see the valley where the warning is heat sealed. So I pulled it off (it was just lightly stuck). Then I noticed something-there was an outline of the edges of the decal in the adhesive. So I took a look at how far past the edges the heat sealed part went past the 'high' edge and into the valley. Took a pair of scissors and trimmed around the impression in the adhesive the amount of the margin. It was about 1/8" or so. Put it back up and it fit perfect - the edges of the Di-Noc sit right at the edge of the valley so it's perfectly flush.

So you're basically creating template and then trimming around it to leave a margin to cover the depressed area. It allows you to follow the actual outline, including the corners. Mine aren't perfectly square so measuring wouldn't have worked well anyway. The biggest trick to this is to just lightly attach it first to make your template in the adhesive.
