The biggest problem I have with seat mounts for this car is it's hard to get them low enough, given low headroom in this car and the funky floorpan shape.

The biggest problem I have with seat mounts for this car is it's hard to get them low enough, given low headroom in this car and the funky floorpan shape. Ditching the idea of sliders helps as that kills another inch or so of height (plus the seat is a lot more stable both for driver-feel and in a wreck...). But the bottom line is any of the universal-ish brackets (e.g. the Sparco ones, Planted, etc) isn't going to be as awesome on managing seat height as something custom-fabbed for exactly where you want the seat at. It doesn't cost that much to hit up a reputable local racecar builder and have them fab up your seat-mounting solution based on your body size, seat, and car, and you'll get a superior solution.
