Does anyone know how to remove the AT selector shift knob? I fancy one of those RSW carbon covers for the bottom gate panel but would imagine that the knob needs removing to fit it?
I downloaded a PDF workshop manual for the 370z but can't seem to find anywhere that details how to remove the selector knob. Thanks |

I changed mine months ago but if I remember correctly-
Pull down the lower gray part of the knob, It will disconnect, then pull out the U shaped pin that it covers. Done. |

Kinda believe you need the button in the knob to shift correct.. So pretty much, aren't we stuck with the one we get from the factory?

Thanks alot. Is it the very bottom bit of the knob - the metallic bit?
I fancy one of these (although the knob looks interesting too!!) which seems to need the knob removed.

i had this shifter on my AT 350z the shifter knob moved up and down in place of the button on knob. It looked cool but it was held on by a set screw that would work lose every couple of months.

This looks very cool, how did the install go not bad. So you just push the button on the top and put it in gear ?
